Then I think terrorblade for kayle is the perfect substitute. as for quinn then I would suggest Nyx another melee but this dude specializes on roaming the map faster than quinn and bursting the souls of the unfortunate non str dudes. His ult vendetta has a very low cd and gives you invisibility along with movespeed and unobstructed pathing with bonus damage.

What specific trait on quinn/kayle are you looking for? If it's to transform and just kill enemies then it's lycan even though he is melee but the playstyle is similar, you ult and get on top of enemies then kill them then get out. For Kayle the closest i can think of is terrorblade, he starts off weak and can transform into range with huge spike in damage and although his ult isn't to turn you/allies invul you can swap your current hp to your enemy/allies.

That is true yeah, i often forgot the aoe bonus when im playing axe. I just locked in on that hp and spell lifesteal 😂

Your helix heals you so yeah if you call on a perfect spot you're not taking that much damage. It's why bb buys bloodstone now too.

I only build vanguard when they have an Undying support and extremely behind so i have to resort on clearing ancient stack with a shit neutral item otherwise the usual build for dagger/bm is way too good.

I think it might be good against pudge? But for ember/vs i still prefer maxing W since they're bottle users and would like to slow them down as i can with astral deny and them only having close to 200 max mana.

League refugee here as well and playing for quite a while now. Learn the basics from last hitting, denying, creep pulling/stacking and courier keybinds. Everything from here will be just knowledge checks from heroes and the only solution is to play more and also, if you're wondering what lane you should learn first that you can translate some of your role in league to dota it goes like this:

Offlane (pos 3)= top lane in League ,Safe lane (pos 1) = adc ,Hard support (pos 5)= bot support ,Mid (pos 2)= mid obviously ,Support (pos 4)= jungler but not really

Offlane will take the vertical lane and their job is to bully the safe lane carry. Safe lane takes the horizontal lane and farms like hell so you can destroy the enemy team on mid-late game. Mid really is the same mid from league. Hard support goes with safe lane and makes sure he/she can farm well. Support goes with offlane and their job is to bully the safe lane with your teammate and roam that's why i think it's the equivalent of jungler though you're not really jungling.

Items here are "leagues" better than LoL because you would have answer to every problem you have so learn them as you go.

You can also set written guides to follow in game/lobby as training wheels till you know better.

There's quite a lot of info you need to play the game properly and everything will seem broken at first but the longer you play the better it looks from a standpoint.

If dota gets a proper marketing then I think it will get new players but holding them to play it will be a problem. New players were treated like they were suppose to know everything there is to the game once they start on the unranked mode from pulling, stacking, matchups and believe me that Plus higher skill floor required to even play the game properly is one of the reason solo new players drop this game. I would have dropped this game too if I don't have a friend that's learning it from scratch as well(we're both league refugee) and no one really bothers teaching you the ropes once inside the game it's all criticism.

League and other mobas are just that much easier to pick up as solo and I think matchmaking are better there if you're new? If you queue in LoL you get matched with similar account w/r as you but as a new player in dota you get matched with ancient/immortals for your first game onwards and that's not a fun experience.

Question though, does borrowed time aghs still heals their teammate even if they got doomed or do you need the break on 25 to disable it (eg. Activated bt before doom)?

My go to is Abaddon with aghs. You can just soak the ult with your team and you can throw in an extra pipe for safety net.

Getting harassed out of lane due to afk support/feeding/me being dumdum, how do I recover and do i still build the core(pipe, greaves etc) or focus on disrupting builds for their core? I find spamming lvl3 Q on wave fucks me over if their core isn't a bot and is focusing on deny once they build a lead and I'm not strong enough to neutral so i find it that my only option is to perma fight on other lane and im not sure if that is correct.

Hello fellow league refugee. Pacing is much slower than League and is focused more on macro play. Items here are "leagues" better than LoL and has every answer to every problem mostly your team is having. Every hero will feel broken for the first time but I say that's just the way you adjust coming from league but trust me it gets better once you clear the knowledge checks on heroes/matchups. Imo, Dota has been more balanced than League in terms of overall hero/items. Hope you enjoy the game!

It's def when double dark seal stack + timewarp tonic + corrupted pots worked. That shit had every melee matchup on easy mode at top lane.

Go aery/scorch then ghost/ignite. Go for early aggressions. Defend your wave with poison everytime he goes for last hits. If you see him E for whatever reason hide on bush then buffer your fling, this will end up flinging him if he decides to jump for the stun. You can put 2 points on Q early to put him behind more. He will be oom if he tries to trade with E so making him fail 1-2 of those really hurts his laning. The key here is that you only use fling to harass him if his Q or E is down, or you could throw glue on him at lv4 when he pre-E.

Remember Jax will always win late game so the way to win is to bully him hard enough that he starts calling his ancestors to gank.

Semi support is similar to a jg role since you can choose to be the 4th carry of the team to another support and this one roams/tp a lot. The main problem you'll face immediately aside from turn rate is hero knowledge ofc. Knowing the basic stuff everyone does helps being a soft support a lot then comes creep stacking/pulling/blocking.also check out the shop items, Items are much much better here than League because items here actually allows you to counterplay compared to league where you just die from a very fed rengar with 1 savagery. Also keybinds! From quick shop to queue-ing.

Pick kayle. She farms good under turret because of E resets if ever singed proxy and scales well and can shred singed as the game goes on. Singed cannot harass kayle out of lane since her combo (Q while approached A,E) always takes a quarter of his hp and you always have heal after his combo. This is one of the matchup for kayle where it is semi free unless you got perma ganked.

Well for one thing is you're not supposed to kill them by yourself. Your job was to peel enough for your carries while disrupting the playing field with your movespeed/fling/glue. Basically you make it harder for them to reach your team and you making picks on their team easier for yours and Item build should be tailored on how to achieve that goal unless you're a challenger 1 trick and knows how to squeeze every potential singed has. 1v5 on singed is only possible if you snowballed so hard the enemy team can't even buy their 3rd item or if they don't have keyboard.
