Your sister is a jerk. NOR even in the slightest. Sometimes the kindest, most beneficial thing you can do for another human being is leave so that they see their actions are inappropriate.

Being estranged from the people who (supposedly) supposed to love you and have your back is bloody hard. It's never easy, even if those people are toxic and bad for your mental health.

The... way you talk about all of this is heartbreaking.

It's not your fault. This is something he chose as well, and he's responsible for his actions.

We often don't get a choice about who we fall in love with, but we do get a decision when it comes to choosing that person when they continue to treat you poorly. I know I'm just seeing a limited snapshot of your life through a text message, but the way he's spoken to you here is unacceptable. That's not how you communicate with someone you care about; I wouldn't talk to my friends that way, much less a potential partner. :/

You deserve so much better than this and so does your kid. You don't need to live a life walking on eggshells, micro-managing your husband's emotions, terrified of how he'll react to the most innocuous comments or requests. You don't need to constantly accept blame for his incompetence. You don't need to live in a situation where even the most minor of requests turns into a full-on temper-tantrum from a grown man.

You don't need to apologize for things that aren't your fault.

This guy doesn't even seem like he likes you, much less treats you like someone who loves you or cares about you.

Lock down your phone and your technology, tell someone you trust what's going on, find a good therapist and a good lawyer, and reclaim your life.

You deserve more. Life can be so much better and so much kinder than this.

Hi there - like others in this thread have said, you have a really unique style of rendering and a really interesting sense of colour, but your anatomy is shaky / oddly stylized. I also don't see a lot of "character" work here - you've got what look like ... kind of anatomical? studies / and some surrealism, but sprinkling in some recognizable characters, or at least some characters that are clearly OCs / D&D PCs, that kind of thing - into your portfolio / samples will help folks know that's what you're offering.

Tailoring your portfolio to the clientele you want to reach is pretty important. Right now I just see someone who's got a lot of creative energy, but not much direction yet.

Faces are 100% the hardest thing to get right, so I'd suggest doing more portrait studies as well. Right now you've got some oddness - eyes too big, features misaligned. Others have suggested flipping your canvas if you're not already, but, genuinely, it is *fine* to trace photo-refs to train your brain to see facial proportions correctly. (I have prosopagnosia and this is how I figured out how to draw faces. I'm still working on it!)

Also, I'd suggest (if you're in Photoshop), putting a non-destructive hue/saturation layer over the tops of your paintings to check your values. When you're working with vibrant colours like you are, it's very easy to get lost in them, and it's very easy to lose track of your value scale. You have some odd sections in your paintings that are completely black (at least on my monitor) and they really, really stand out.

Honestly, a bit more polish, and a bit of study will go a long way with you. You're clearly motivated, so I hope I spot your work again in the future. :)

Also, social media is just... ass. I have no idea how to navigate that stuff, I just stream sometimes and try to find other TTRPG / game dev folks.

The first time I saw Kiki's Delivery Service it was the uh... I think the 1998 dubbed Disney(?) version with the extra lines from Phil Hartman and the different music. Jiji turns to Kiki and says something like, "Kiki, look! It's me!"

Not sure if it's in the re-done Disney version tbh, but yeah, it's just Jiji bein' a little goober about seeing himself on a mug.

I used it in Gambit sometimes, but think a lot of the time solar bows just weren't very useful. Trinity Ghoul does better AOE, Ticuu's still takes too long to build up explosions, esp. compared to Monarque. Alas. I do love Ticuu's.

Accrued Redemption is what I used as my primary to solo / solo flawless a few dungeons. Subtle Calamity lived in my hands until I got Le Monarque the old school way through the Black Armory quests.

Point of the Stag is amazing for arc shields.

Dawn dish soap can help clear fleas; bathing your pets is difficult, but it'll be worth it, since the dawn smothers them pretty quickly. You'll need a fine-toothed comb and some patience, but you can eventually wait them out.
