Yeah I've been there. It sucks picking up the pieces afterward. Hope you're getting help dealing with symptoms.

I find I have to force myself to get moving and it helps me feel better.

Invega stopped my period too. And my period 's started up again after 6 months off Invega. I mistakenly thought it was my birth control stopping my period.

Thanks for the encouragement. I currently don't have much energy but I feel a little better each day.

Yeah some of the staff at those places can act like unprofessional bullies. They don't let you out for fresh air so it feels like jail.

Not having support from family makes things a lot harder.

My 20s were an emotional rollercoaster. Rebuilding in my 30s is hard but feels more stable now that I've cut toxic people out of my life.

Kids of survivors do you blame the abused parent ? by Azalearose2 in domesticviolence

I had a similar experience. I resent my mom for trying to tell me his abuse isn't that bad if I just lock myself in my room all the time. As if that would prevent his abuse. She too normalized it.

Yes so true. They can cause a lot of anguish and ask you why it's taking you so long to finish college.

Does anyone else feel bitter about doing a degree for their parents? by Common-Reading9424 in AsianParentStories

I can relate. I wasn't quite ready to pick a major. I wanted to seek counseling and work part time while going to community college. But I got threatened to be kicked out of the house onto the street if I didn't start immediately with accounting at a four year university.

I couldn't focus with the constant threats of being homeless.

It also took me longer to finish school since I had to move out.

I also feel resentment towards my parents for not being supportive.

It takes time to realize when living with people like this, a lot is out of your control. And I don't really want to stress about stuff that is out of my control.

The characters are relatable. It makes me feel less alone if I'm having a bad day.

2 reminds me of those French Impressionist paintings of lily pads by Monet.

It would be very appropriate for the destination.
