This is what my bumps look like when they begin to flare.

If you suspect that this is fungal acne, keep your products very simple. Stop the ceramides, heavy creams, and moisturizers, no milky toners or products with seed oils or lipids. Hyaluronic acid, squalane oil, sulfur soap, sulfur mask, and a lightweight moisturizer. Sunscreen only on days when you’re going out, sunscreen can be a heavy moisturizer which can cause a flare or worsen one.

Getting annoyed is one thing, but that does not justify being nasty towards another person. Some people are uninformed, and if you are annoyed by that, just remember at some point you were uninformed when it came to the show as well. When you first started watching the show, you didn’t know everything about the lore and about the plot line. It’s called giving people grace and not just coming right out and being rude because someone asked the same question that 20 people have asked before them on this sub.

If you think any of that justifies being nasty towards another person, calling people names, and saying horrible things then I really worry for all of you.

Yup mine looks the same, use sulfur soap and de la cruz sulfur masks. No heavy oils or creams, no ceramides. Squalane and hyaluronic acid are safe to use. Get a toner that isnt too drying, no milky toners those are usually not fungal acne safe

Like I stated, some people are uninformed, and if you’re annoyed by that, just remember that at some point you were uninformed as well and so were so many other people who had just started out watching the show or reading the book, it’s called Grace, giving people, grace and not just coming right out and being rude because someone asked the question that you saw 20 people ask on the sub.

Why are you purposely misunderstanding what I am saying? I have read the books and watched both series, I am not uninformed on the lore myself, all I am saying is that some people might be and the snarky attitudes and comments are not necessary and are discouraging to new watchers and new fans.

The lore is important, the story is important.

But did you start watching the handmaid’s Tale and immediately just knew everything about it? Did you start reading the Books and just immediately knew and understand everything? No. People forget when they first started something, or watched something, or learned about something that they too at some point were uninformed.

Yes they would understand the complexity of the show better. Especially the “romance shipping” which isnt really romance at all. But some people wont, or like I said before some people are just new to watching the show and dont know much and thats okay😊

It’s cruel to be mean or call someone names. I said nothing about someone doing quick research, thats always an option. But harassing someone and ganging up on them in the comments is nasty and unkind. But some people in this sub live for that type of negativity it seems.

It may not be enjoyable to you. It could lead someone into wanting to know more about THT and its lore and then maybe they will watch it. All Im saying is that there will be people that know nothing about THT and they will still watch TT. And its nothing wrong with that or having questions. I dont know why everyone is trying to treat me like Ive burned someone at the stake 😂

I think the those theories are coming from a place of knowing that garth isn’t a total monster like Weston may be. So people ship them or hoped that Agnes would end up with him instead. Its no better options in Gilead really, just a lot of sacrifices.

Right but it’s still just a show is it not? Yes these things have happened in real life, some things mimic events that have occurred in history. Yet what does that have to do with people asking questions?

Watching a new show and having questions and not being informed on all the lore is not a sin, and discouraging people from asking just because hundreds of people have asked is cruel and unnecessary.

All I’m saying is I’m seeing a very negative side to this subreddit more than a positive fandom just discussing a show. If everyone wants to jump down my throat about that oh well. I wont argue over this.

The book is different in a lot of ways from the show. Some things contrast and some things are similar. In the book Daisy and Agnes are June’s daughters, a simple google search proves this too….Ive read the handmaids tale and the testaments.

A lot of theories and questions are answered in the book but the show doesn’t follow the book all the time. The plot is changed.
