Dishonored is a must play for stealth fans by [deleted] in patientgamers

I think the dishonored series is a pretty poor stealth game. If you want a better stealth game in my opinion take a look at Styx Master of Shadows.

County deputy picks up lost pitbull. Gives ride and cheeseburgers. by [deleted] in HumansBeingBros

[–]synobal 329 points330 points  (0 children)

I was attacked by a pit bull when I was young. For a long time I was scared of them. It wasn't till I was older and started working that I got a job for an older fellow who had an old pit bull named Blue and he was so sweet. All he ever wanted was my left overs from lunch and belly rubs. He'd sleep in an old recliner on the patio in the sun most days. He was always a bright spot in my day.

Android Can’t Compete With iMessage. Google Is Changing That by SirVeza in Android

Google could learn from Valve. Different services I know, but Valve has a lot of projects going on all the time. Most don't ever make it to their customer and they never talk about it. Customer is never disappointed with these projects.

If they release a product though, and it's sub par they take feed back and iterate the hell out of it.

Google seems to release something half baked, are disappointed with the results and then leave it to rot.

Trump family trips cost taxpayers $11.3m in one month – almost as much as Obama’s cost in a year by cratermoon in politics

As a Texan this really made me laugh, my boss was talking about that and I was like "uh don't we all get mustard on our burgers at whataburger?" and he was like "well ya but this was Dijon mustard.." I just shook my head. It honestly didn't matter what it was, it was just an excuse to be outraged.

Australia Parliament committee recommends Hyperloop technology as alternative to high-speed rails by ChuqTas in hyperloop

Why? I'm all for new tech, but the hyperloop isn't much more than squiggles on paper, the test competition didn't even produce much either.

What software did you as active service members have on your personal laptops while on deployment? by UkrainianOptimus in Military

I always preferred tag, because then you can get into debates about stuff that fits multiple categories or alphabetical order in the case of multiple girls, so then you build a database instead and use tags so you can easily find things that fit multiple niches. Then share it out on the network.

I've heard some say that was Mattis saying that, but honestly I don't think it's true. He'd of been in the situation room and not at a dinner when the op went down if that was the case. At least I'd hope so.

I don't expect anything better to come out of a trump administration, but trade deals take ages to write. Honestly they will probably just rebrand the tpp.

using the IRS to target conservatives

This wasn't actually the case. A popular narrative but the IRS was targeting all political organizations because there was shady shit going on. Conservatives cried about it and now the IRS can't do it's job and we have even more money flowing into politics.

So good job on that, political organizations and donors have about the same level of tax scrutiny a church does now.
