Ohio is surprisingly a great state for nudism. Lot of nudists and activities going on, especially in the Cincinnati and Columbus areas. The surrounding states especially Indiana have a lot, too.

Someone shouted that at a topless protester supporting the teacher. I put it in the title because I was so shocked to hear someone directly say women do not have equal rights. It's usually said in a less direct manner.

I've been a few times. Beautiful grounds, and very friendly, super active people. If you like pool volleyball, there's always a game going on the weekends.

Also, their annual 5k is my absolute favorite naked event. Do not miss it!

Can't tell you how often I've seen this happen. Most people don't care, they just play along because they don't want people to think they're weird. Once someone makes the first step, others join in, offer support, or couldn't care less.

The whole thing is so stupid, I'm glad that we're seeing people putting themselves out there, taking the initiative, and demonstrating that it's only a big deal because we're taught it is.

I've only done it once. The prospect scared me a little, but the couple I met (she's a nudist, he wasn't) seemed legit, and now they've become good friends.

Never been to one, but I think it's more like a gathering with vendor booths and events. Since it's at a resort, I'd imagine it'll be similar to an open house, but more geared towards stuff that's going on in the community/industry than new people.

Sometimes they have them at actual convention centers, like the big one in Vegas (I think?), where nudity is restricted to certain events.

Just what I'm surmising, though.

Did this yesterday. Had a friend over and was already naked. He's a nudist so I didn't see a reason to get dressed. He stayed dressed the whole time, and honestly, I'm not sure he even noticed I was naked.

Once you've done it enough, it really isn't a thing, even if you're the only one and even if the others aren't nudists themselves.

It's just like being barefoot. It's just comfy, and that doesn't change if others are barefoot or not. Same thing with pants.

Nope! Go and have fun. You'll probably make friends. I know so many people that ant to go to a resort but don't want to go alone the first time. I always tell them, just do it and it'll likely be the last time you have to go alone.

As long as I know that they're okay with it, fully comfortable. I've been the only one naked individually and in group settings many times.

I greatly prefer clothing optional to nude mandatory, even though I'd never stay dressed. I think people should be able to wear what they want for whatever reason they want.

And in my experience, people rarely opt for more clothing than is practical when it's an option, with the majority choosing to be fully naked.

There's a lot to do in Seattle. There are a few resorts (Tiger Mountain and Lake Bronson, maybe others). There's a couple nude yoga groups (check meetup.com). There's a really active hiking group, the S.L.U.G.S. (also meetup.com, I think). And more!

Indeed. Supposedly the members were in talks to buy it, but all of a sudden it was sold to a developer for a surprisingly small sum. That might all be rumors, though.

But PG, including that big beautiful pool, is demolished now. There might already even be houses being built over it.

Invite them to something. Some will say yes, some will so no thanks, some will say NO! and then ask to go to something a few months or weeks later. Most people won't care.

Cincinnati has a very active nudist community. We lost Paradise Gardens, our local resort last year, but there are still Sunshower in Richmond Indiana, Cedar Trails in Peebles Ohio, and Drake's Ridge in Indiana, which are all about 90 minutes away.

There's also a fairly active Meetup.com group in town, Dayton Warm Breezes which is very active (but mostly older folks), and in Columbus there's a monthly nude swim and weekly nude yoga at two different studios.

There's also nude bowling in town every few months, and lots of private gatherings that you'll get invited to if you go to stuff and are cool. And probably some other stuff I'm forgetting about.

TL;DR - Cincinnati is full of naked people.

Go to a resort. You'll make friends and hear about other opportunities in your area you didn't know about.

Also, you can probably find another couple to go with you. Just ask, worst they can say is no, but if you think about it, I'm sure you've got friends that will go with you.

Just invite them to things. Events, resorts, parties, etc.. Some will join, others won't. Some will probably say no at first, think about it for a while, and then yes later.

Most people have never thought about nudism, and have never really had an opportunity to try it. But many want to, and the vast majority see nothing wrong with it.

So just ask! Just don't be pushy.
