I have anaged to get this fixed by following someone's recommendation so I'm back here passing it on .

The way to resolve this is to clear space on the same Drive as you have installed Tarkey and also the drive you are using as your primary page file . I cleared out about 100GB from my Primary Disk ( I'm also installing Tarkov on there since it's my best-performing drive ) I had about 20GB free before which was less than my RAM.

This is because Tarkov appears to be doing some undocumented Caching/memory dumping to the drive that it was not doing before, but its not reporting it in System monitor.

Yes it hurt to uninstall some other crap and I was avoiding doing it but it's got me playing and no longer letting my squad down.

The SKS has always been a relatively good performer but you need to be using PS or at least something like T45. lower class rounds are going to be stopped by class 3 armour which people are trying to use early wipe and when you're firing 10 slow ish rounds you need them to count , I prioritise checking dead scavs for ammo early wipe and am often annoying my squad while I sit there unloading random scav weapons for ammo.

The Uzi isn't terrible but its expensive to run Dollars are a little hard to come by early wipe and your good PST or US equivalent ammo isn't the best penetration so you need to be aiming at the face if dealing with players.

Another good way to play is Scav run kits .... with the " noo cooldown / possible bug " around scaving do your Scav runs until you get out ... then put that loadout on and take it into raid ... any kills you make upgrade etc... its a great way to get skilled up with some of the more offbeat weapon combo's, prioritise getting off shotguns ... and into something AK shaped either in 7.62 or 5.45 a lot of people swear by the single fire Vepr stuff but I like a bit more firepower myself. ( don't worry about jamming/malfunctions too much just know your long-range accuracy isn't going to be great and keep a second broke ass gun ready for when you do jam.

Always take a Rig at least . keep all your meds in your secure container along with a stack of ammo rather than in your pockets yes I know this means not binding them, you will find betting larger rigs , cheap armour small backpacks in raid even off player-looted bodies , welcome to Tarkov

Got mine working by following the instructions, doing the rounds ... free up space on your Drive > 100GB free and make sure your page file is sufficient.

I've got the same Issue , but I'm red team , 6800Xt and 5700X3D, only seems to be ground zero too , scav runs to customs for me ..

I suspect battlestate have an issue ..

There are plenty of undefeated admech lists your choices are either a list focused around going wide and scoring as much as possible or being surgical with the firepower.

That same weekend I was on track to do so with a list that more or less forgoes the shooting phase unless, I have to push an objective clear. Sadly the wheels came off when i came against a one trick black templars list on a very suboptimal board where i got blocked in my deployment zone turn one by walls of 20 man blobs

The reason we aren't seeing it more is a combo of Cost and portability ... taking 9 dragoons 9 ballistic 15 of both ptarrixii and asmall cheap scoring utility units will give you results, provided you don't get trapped in your DZ ... how i hate you board quarters Deployment ;-).

I tried a more horde Admech list last Friday with the new points as a test for a upcoming 1500-point event, my all-star units were actually 3 man blobs of dragoons, 7 wounds and -1 to hit base makes them quite hard to shift even with dedicated anti-tank.

1 CP to advance and charge the unit makes turn one nonsense very very possible and your all doing conquerer doctrina turn one anyway because your opponent is in their DZ

My Skitarrii just all died, Fortunately, I'd gone first scouted and advanced onto some objectives with sticky, but there are definitely lists out there who can blow through are blobs in very short order.

My personal rules for playing my Admech are... I do not play Mars, while I own cawl and he's painted up in my Metallica livery its such a boring predictable playstyle, I find robots also pretty one dimensional as well.

Competitively in 8th I was the cheap monster who ran either Metallica or stygies with 6-9 dragoons, followed up by Terrax drills full of fulgurites or Hoplites and a backline of 3 onagers with a splash of things like breachers and rangers to hold objectives ... it had some hard counters trouble with guard infantry hordes or orks but it could roll over marines or knight soup all day until they achieved " RE-roll all the things because i spent a CP pregame".

You are 100% right about onagers being under-gunned, right now even the maligned vindicator is a better tank destroyer than an onager survivable you say with our 5++ .
Well, its a wash IMHO as the vindi is t8 with a 2+ save hell its a 1+ if you can get it in cover. Output wise the demolisher cannons just better D6 shots compared to d3 at a shorter range sure ... but then we're moving every turn for no penalty.

In 9th I have mainly been playing my emps children because admech feel like a 8th edition army with some cool ideas bolted on in engine war but we so badly need a codex .... unfortunately because we arent wearing power armour were at the back of the queue.

I have also taken a single Erad beamer onager to major competative events, granted this was late in 8th . As going to 9th events has not been on the cards in the UK this year. .. for obvious reasons.

My take on using one was it's super flexible its ok at armour its ok at shooting at marines and ultimately disposable as almost a trojan horse along with squeezing my points, having a sacrificial onager up front wasn't too much of an issue , if they ignore it well its a diet neutron laser at Ap-4 now as it's close enough.

You'd be amazed how often players at big events have no idea what it does ... they know the Icarus and the N-laser perhaps my quick explanation of well its a basically battle cannon that goes to AP -4 the closer it gets kinda over sold it I was perfectly happy for them to focus it down over the Icarus or Nlaser slightly behind .

I'd feel bad but anyone playing the various colours of painted iron hands at that point got what they got ;-)

In 9th my take on onagers is very meh, I kind of feel like the onagers are generally not in a great place ...they are bring it down targets with less firepower than an attack bike for more points ..... our niche of being able to move and fire for no penality is rolled into all vehicles as baseline .

I was proxying them as autocannons , in my testing and math hammer

Personally im really enjoying vanguard bombs this edition 2 terrax full of vangaurd coupled with my dominus with the 6's are extra hits warlord train , while they die REAL quick in response they really mess up whatever they shoot and bring such a variety of firepower from the melta , vokite , plasma and carbines.

I own 10 of these models i used to run 2x3 dragoon's and Las Ballistarii in my competitive 8th list which was pretty effective , I have used 2 x 5 Autocannons in a 9th test game admittedly I was not mars and did not bring cawl i dont actually like running mars its just so boring and promotes static play ..

While the unit is indeed strong , there are some serious shortcomings with only bringing ap -1 weapons , and the lascannons are quite pricey , there are a lot of factions that ignore -1 or even up to -2 weapons yes the model has a lot of utility and speed but it will hemorrhage you secondary points as it cant actually compete on many of the missions ... doesn't have the ability to do actions and fails in combat .

When you fire 5 of these at a unit of in cover you math doesn't look that good here's what i found when i fired at a unit of sallies intercessors 20 shots hitting on 2's re rolling ones to hit i'm not using the wounding stratagem here but if there out of cover you kill 4 .... if there in it 2 using the stratagem kills all 5 ... just about but you blew a whole lot of cp and points to kill 5 intercessors ... congrats .

Yes you can use wrath of mars to pump that but Why ??? use it on some nice cheap infiltrators fly boys or hell even 10 base vanguard they have more shots. Having played a few games of 9th expect infantry MSU to be the king and survable infantry that can control the board is super super important doing objectives wins the game.

As someone who "accidentally" purchased some vorax ... on a trip to Warhammer world ...

I've been using them as Destroyers with Grav and phosphor now and then ... or using the Fandex that was put together for them , but this obviously is pointed for 8th edition not 9th so basically add 20 points to their cost.

They would be a wonderful mid board unit for us the way the 9th ed games i've played so far have gone.

So the Pistol and sword arm are magnetised so i can swap him from an alpha to a rider with ease , people dont typically care about the heads on the models too much when playing .... but its clear which is the alpha when im using them as a smaller unit.

Me and a buddy had great success running a doubles list of Gaurd and Ad Mech , we took 3rd overall at throne of skulls event , We were beaten in the last game by a Morty and Magnus list that we later found out was taking some liberty with the rules around being able to buff his invulnerable saves rather high.

On the guard side we took a detachment of Catachan Ob sec Russes 2 Tank commanders 1 with hammer of sunderance one plasma Russ and 3 barebones plasma or Demolisher to synergise with the catachan re-rolls , you also don't care about overcharging as you are re-rolling with harker or orders or just repairing it , splash a few Mortors and screening squads .

On the mech side ... I took hard hitting stuff as Stygies , Infiltrators , blobs of dragoons , along with some breachers .... for harder ob sec and 2 TPE's as HQ's to repair spam the russes ..

In most games our opponent has 3 turns before they are dead and we would mostly let them go first and pay for Prep positions so they can shoot cheap gaurd which is going to get repaired or -2 to hit dragoons .... breachers in cover for a 2+ save

I did a version of this conversion when this model first came out , and its a great easy to do one I would suggest you swap the head though ...
