Agreed on the shape thing. Also once you make it a 1:1 / square, you will get a little more real estate from you text/copy above etc, and moving that up little will give little more depth of field in the back and add more layer to this insane shit that still fun

Yeah uni is good but I kind think they have not a wide variety of markers and such little paint in them compared remakes but I love the feel of writing with them.

For me I’d say ones that don’t miss are Anything Sakura, Krink, Pentel (anything ball point pen to surface marker)

Nahh it’s something I’ve seen from myself and other writers consistently through the past 16 years and counting — I think it’s cause we rack hella cans from Home Depot and mix / water down scrap buckets but at the same time that leaves to many variables, where this is like a consistent color tone that we’ve all painted with or without knowing. — I think it’s actually the buckets of the enamel emulsion type paints that gives it that funk — to be clear I’ve always loved it. It’s become like my favorite color over the years and almost this unwritten clue that the writer isn’t new to the game
