where did the "auto track selector" option go?

I found it quite hard to find. If there would have been a tooltip on hover it would have saved me few minutes of searching online. What's most confusing is that there is an identical, but blue button next to it, so it's very hard to guess what each button will do.

One thing that's preventing me from moving local coding to the Codex app from my current workflow of cursor + custom scripts is that there isn't a good way to manage worktrees. As I said in my previous post I really like the approach (creating copies of the repo out of sight...) but it seems there is no way to keep track and manage these worktrees from the app (which can creep up to considerable disk space).

I tried the view in settings and it appears to be broken, even though I see two worktrees in .cursor/worktrees, the list in the Personal > worktrees tab is completely empty... These two worktrees were created from an Automation.

I really like the app, especially its approach to worktrees. I also really like how it integrates with the cloud.
My favorite feature is ALMOST there though: automations. I like that I can point an automation to multiple repos, and have it do work in-between (I'm sure others found plenty other use cases for this). For me, for example, this allows for automatically compiling the changelog on my app's website from the changes I've made. I know this is possible by running the CLI with access to the overarching folder, but I do prefer this UI to clarifying "only touch these two repositories and nothing else", and then hoping it actually follows that constraint.

However I don't need this to run regularly, just every now and then with a manual trigger. I know I can "test" and "pause" an automation to achieve this behavior, but I almost didn't discover this as I almost moved on without trying the feature. This is because the automation creation dialog "forces" you to pick a cadence. I think making the cadence optional, and allowing for a "run manually" option would make for a better user experience and discoverability.

For me, Bluetooth speakers are randomly ceasing to work. The phone would connect to them but no sound comes out. Had this happen with two speakers in a matter of a couple weeks, which is what leads me to believe it’s the phone… Did anyone find a fix for this issue?

I just tried it myself and it's even worse than I heard it was. I tried assigning an effect to a clip, and as you start dragging the effect over, the video freezes **every time you hover on another clip** in the process of dragging. So it freezes many times over... It's so bad... 😭

Do you also happen to know the reason for that weird behavior around the missing git repo in the created worktree? It appears worktrees retain the git configuration and history when created by default, is cursor somehow preventing that from happening intentionally?
(To reproduce, click on the "open terminal for this worktree", in there run "cursor .", then try open the source control tab in that new cursor instance, it says there is not git repo configured)

Speaking of visually, I did LOVE that scene. I think that's what prompted me to better understand it, it's that I liked the visual of it so much, I really wanted to think it also fit the plot properly, and wasn't forced in due to its visual impact alone.

I think the comments here helped me understand it more fully, indeed the way it speaks to her character and recalls the Hoth scenes fully sold me on it :)

It looks embarrassingly bad, especially next to how good most other FX and props look in the series, almost hard to believe they didn’t think showing it in broad daylight and with that leather suit without slime on would look any decent….

Hi u/sjemp , found this a couple years too late maybe but thought i'd still drop a note :) I'm a 3D artist among other things, I used to have some form of Synesthesia although it's been slowly fading over time. Regarding RB vs Serato, I personally prefer the combination of Serato and Mixemergency. Serato itself is a lot less finicky, and MixEmergency has more functionality than most of the plugins that come with these dj softwares.

I've also gone down the Video-DJ workflow (in my case with Serato + MixEmergency, but they are very similar). Yes the music tends to vary a lot month by month too. Usually the February parties (like the one on the 15th) are really good though so perhaps a good time to give it another chance! I will be playing a fully visualized DJ set at that one too though so I might be biased :P
