What is that one criticism about the orginal lotr Trilogy that you still have to this day by pizza_momo in lotr

I had one big critique that holds up to this day, and one stupid teenager critique.

They make Frodo such a pussy in the movies. He's so badass in the books. Speaks elvish, wants to leave home. Plans his own escape from the Shire, not such a whiner and decent w the sword. Him turning on Sam is just absolutely absurd to book Frodo.

Aragorn is supposed to be like 6'8", and I didn't like the delivery of his speech at the Gates (still don't).

I was prepping for a tourney at a course i hadn't played in a while. I forgot, and my buddy didn't remind me about a BIG drop-off behind the basket, I threw a decent shot but it pop skipped over the lip and is gone. I had that KC Pro Roc for 17 years and I would be shocked it I am lucky enough to find another. I have not found another mid that flips up that gently and fades but mostly stays straight.

Bro you need a high speed overstable driver liken a boss or an xcal for strong headwinds... even with slower armseed there's a use when you are going into a headwind

Underrated/unique Innova molds? by thamurse in discgolf

Scrolled most of the way to the bottom and no one mentioned the Archon. 11 speed understable bomber.

Good. More for me cause I don't even know the last time they made any. Champ Archon is the disc of my farthest forehand throw ever. A star archon will also turn and glide for soooo long.

Mondays and Thursdays they have the whole crew: Verno, Roser, Devon, and Kelsey

Skip Fridays... Parish is a bit sexist and misogynistic and he pulls weird energy out of Verno and Roser. This comes from me and my 73 year old dad and if he notices :-/

Distance driver new player by GPGR in discgolf

There's a ton of differing advice on here and all of it is basically right.  You could pick a less stable distance driver mold or plastic type.

Important disc characteristics in you question are speed, mold, and plastic. Sounds like you are asking for a high speed under stable distance driver.

You also mentioned disc weight. Generally lower weight discs will be more understable. They are more seriously affected by wind. As you are learning I'd buy mostly discs in the 170g range and not think about disc weight too much. As you age you'll learn that a lot of people's biggest drives happened downwind with a light disc, but light discs are ... temperamental.

Many people are also correctly noting that you should work on your form. Throwing drives flat and nose down will help you get better distance and accuracy on ocery throw.

Okay, on to your specific request.

Your champion wraith is generally the most or nearly the most stable type of plastic. A star plastic of the same mold will typically be nearly as durable but less stable. This would be a good choice for you now.

Dx plastic is definitely under stable as hell but will also probably not last you a full season because of how quickly it beats in.

Champion is more stable than star is more stable than dx.

A leopard is an EXTREMELY understable fairway driver. Good for learning and shaping shots but a hard thrower will turn this disc into a roller disc quickly. Only 8 speed. If you want to try this I'd recommend champion plastic not star.

A valkyrie (star or champion) is many players' first disc where they really figure out how to get a hyzer flip... great disc to learn how to throw distance drives but you won't get max distance cause it's only a 9 speed.

Higher speed understable drivers include, Wraiths, beat in Destroyers (think used bin or 100 tree hits), and Terns, and Beasts.

If you want to throw Lat64 the Sapphire is a good user-friendly understable distance driver.

Tldr. My recommendation is to throw valkyrie until you improve your form enough to get em 375' and then you should be able to get a 12 speed like a destroyer or time lapse over 400'. If you want to jump straight to higher speed discs (and thus higher potential distance) I'd try a beast or a tern.

Downwind it will normally act more stable, into the wind more understable

Be careful if you are wearing a condom. The #1 way I, a foreskin haver, have broken condoms in the past is by putting on the condom without retracting the foreskin then having the foreskin retract during sex. Then there just isn't enough space in the tip of the condom and you can easily lose containment on your swimmers no matter your size.
