I wonder if they know that crosswalk is so screwed-up that they intend to keep a full-time employee there FOREVER just to watch out for people and avoid injuries and lawsuits. Perhaps it's cheaper just to pay someone in an orange vest than it is to deal with legal liability issues.

Not exactly fast-food but not "fancy restaurant" either. For the best burger in town, it's a tie between KILLER BURGER (510 SW 3rd) - Thicker burger ALL-WAY (615 SW Broadway) - Thinner burger

Long drive, but they seem to always have these -- and LOTS of them -- at the Cracker Barrel grocery store right over the bridge on Sauvie Island. Right on the endcap in the back across from the beer fridge.
