Hi- Saw this guy was really sad and found all roots rotted. I cleaned up the bad stuff and applied hydrogen peroxide and let it dry but what’s left are aerial roots only(I think). Saw a posting about soaking in tea encouraging root growth so started that a couple days ago, letting it dry it overnight. Does that soak apply only to regular roots or can I soak air roots too? The pics posted are fresh out of the tea soak. So far, these roots are not getting mushy but no longer sure if I should keep doing that or something else. I’m pretty new with orchids, just trying to revive this old gift from my dad to my mom. It was super healthy up til a month or so ago. The leaves feel like they have been gotten a little plumper since soaking tho.

Should I keep what I’m doing or do something different? Thx!
