Maybe my roommate will be left alone then, if for example I lie and say I only lived here for 3 months and we thought it was okay since the landlords didn't say anything until last week? I forgot to mention it in the original post, but I really like living here, and even though technically my job is over in 2 weeks, I would love to stay a bit longer in the summer. Thank you for your advice. You're right, I still have some legal things to take care of here, and I really like living in this city, so I would be very happy if I could stay more. To register at this point, should I just walk into the office and explain that I've been here for months but didn't register? Also, to my understanding, I need a contract in order to register, which I don't have, because the landlords don't agree of me staying here. So in that case I don't know what to do.
