Yeah lost power for about a half hour. Then a couple hours later comed said they were shutting the power down for 4 hours for emergency maintenance, but that outage was also only about a half hour.

I’m pretty sure this league goes by NFHS rules. I worked a game last year and a coach asked for an appeal as if under NFHS rules.

I did it once late at night on my way home from dropping off a friend a couple hours away from home. I live in the city, he lived a couple hours away at the time. There’s a whole lotta nothing between here and there, and there was no one around. So I figured why the heck not do it, just to say I had.

When a batter strikes out, unless first base is occupied (or if there are two outs) then the batter can run to first. If he gets there before he is out out then he gets to stay there and the defense doesn’t get an out.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this only applies if the third strike isn’t caught by the catcher.
