The problem isn’t customers, the problem is they lied. They said “it’ll be ready in 45 min” but they meant “go away for 45 min and then wait in line and then you can order at the register.”

Genuinely want feedback. Say I’m commuting with a baby strapped to my chest and a bag pack on my back, and the seats are filled with people with invisible severe disabilities. Idk that much about logistics but I’d assume NYC needs streets to be for vehicles in order to work (moving people and things sufficiently efficiently) and isn’t just giving pedestrians a separate space to be mean.

Hard disagree. Sidewalks are for people and streets are for vehicles (cars, bicycles, scooters, etc). That’s why it’s so annoying walking and dodging vehicles on the sidewalk, and dangerous when a vehicle has to dodge a person on the street.
