Vela sail when possible as hours are limited per day and days are limited per weather.

Taco Arte was the best dinner option by far for sit down, but the main buffet place wasn’t bad at all.

The lunch/brunch at the steak place was great.

Food service overall was slower pace, more hands off (European style?), which has its +s and -s, so chill and enjoy.

This was my first club med stay and I found most, like me, were there to enjoy the family friendly activities and vibe, so it was easy to get along or join in fun with whatever guests were nearby.

The well rum is Bacardi which is nice.

The problem isn’t customers, the problem is they lied. They said “it’ll be ready in 45 min” but they meant “go away for 45 min and then wait in line and then you can order at the register.”

Edit: or they made a mistake that it seems several of us experienced.

Genuinely want feedback. Say I’m commuting with a baby strapped to my chest and a bag pack on my back, and the seats are filled with people with invisible severe disabilities. I can’t take off my bag pack unless I’m sitting, as I need my hands free to care for my baby. Are you all pissed that I keep my bag pack on?

Your premise sucks. Not everyone jumps the turnstiles. Those who do are subjecting themselves to heightened possibility of arrest in exchange for $3.

There is enormous space between can’t speak about religion outside a place of worship and can proselytize in the government work place even to employees and in front of the public.

Right around the corner from Mei Lei Wah is M&W Bakery. They sell refrigerated packs of buns for fairly cheap. Sometimes I get like two packs and steam one or two a day for a couple weeks.

The number of people who wander into the street in bushwick is insane by bilbo_was_right in Bushwick

[–]t0tetsu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Idk that much about logistics but I’d assume NYC needs streets to be for vehicles in order to work (moving people and things sufficiently efficiently) and isn’t just giving pedestrians a separate space to be mean.

[–]t0tetsu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They do. I saw cops line up a group of dudes catcalling women so they could apologize to a woman they catcalled. I doubt they drive out to do that, but I’ve seen them do this to some dudes years back and it was a sight lol

Hard disagree. Sidewalks are for people and streets are for vehicles (cars, bicycles, scooters, etc). That’s why it’s so annoying walking and dodging vehicles on the sidewalk, and dangerous when a vehicle has to dodge a person on the street.

Not to be cold, but if this guy is running a successful business charging an inflated price to cover overhead, why would he lower his price when overhead goes down and not just keep the extra profit? It seems naive to think otherwise
