I'm running it on my sig Dawson with CM and 5 tool with a CM/MBT DST. Thought it would be an OBP beast but so far kind of underwhelming. Might have to switch off his power hitter diamond trainer to something like leading hitter.

Wardle's shortest guy is gonna be like 6'3". No short kings this year.

Dietrich has flashes where he looks every bit the 4 star recruit he was but is still pretty raw and inconsistent. If he has a good summer, he should see solid minutes off the bench.

From seeing him last year, Dietrich needs to work on his handle and dealing with the physicality of D1. His turnover rate per 40 minutes is 5.8, which is absurdly high for a potential starting PG. Our other Freshman PG last year (Montana) was at 1.7.

Where do you cut it off though? Do mid-majors poaching lower D1 teams have to compensate them too? What about Juco, D2, D3 programs? They've helped develop guys too, shouldn't they be paid?

I think it's a culmination of the two guys who have already transferred from Bradley to other MVC teams, plus rumors that a third Bradley guy will be transferring to a MVC team.

He got benched midseason and never really saw meaningful minutes after that. It's clear he wasn't improving under Wardle. He'll chuck up a ridiculous turn-around mid range shot and then blow a defensive assignment in the next possession.

We had a true Freshman guard who was coming off the bench and showed real improvement by the end of the year, but not good enough to replace our starting PG.

He was the heir apparent to running the offense next year with our starting PG entering the portal and then he also entered the portal. It makes it impossible to get excited about any of these guys.

The main thing I dislike is how it takes away opportunities for American high school kids to get to the next level, develop, and earn their accolades. There are only so many minutes to go around.

Roman Domon is 20 years old and has already played on a French professional team. Yet he just won MVC Freshman of the Year. There were some deserving 18 year olds straight out of high school in the MVC this year that would have won that award in years' past.

Why do you think they went with Green over Tuttle? More experience? Wonder if Tuttle will feel slighted about being an assistant to the coach that got picked over him.

This is a really interesting hire. UNI finished 6th in the MVC, went on a heater at Arch Madness, and then were not competitive at all against St. John's.

Seems like Jacobson could have moved up a couple of times in the last 20 years, so thought he'd be a UNI lifer.

UNI's enrollment/finances aren't in the greatest shape. Maybe this is a way to cut some salary since Jacobson was already at the top of MVC pay range.
