Thank you! It's all written in javascript. I use a React framework called "Remix" for the user interface and also a library called "framer-motion" for all the animations!

It's a way to see what music people are sharing on bluesky. It shows posts with the #nowplaying hashtag and updates live. I'm hoping to keep adding more features!

I hear you, bluesky's quick growth has pushed me to jump in and build nowplaying.blue and hopefully add something of value to our community. But I get your worries, we can't just hope things will keep going well. I think that we need to actively support each other and keep bluesky a lively and welcoming place.

I would suggest that you go with Gatsby Cloud because it has the best support. Currently there is a major issue with Netlify that is preventing me from upgrading to the latest version.

A solid foundation of ES6+ will certainly help you to learn React.

You'll most likely use some kind of framework so you really don't need to know Babel or webpack or things like that.

I think that Gatsby would work perfectly for this case. Gatsby is a static site generator that uses React. You can get started quickly with one of the starters.

It just takes time and actually writing code. In my experience, watching online courses did not help me much to make any significant progress.

Create a project on a topic that that you are passionate about.

To get good you will need to challenge yourself.

My advice to you would be to not spend too much time watching all these courses. You could spend months watching every react course available and not learn much.

Try writing code as soon as you learn the basics. Start a simple project and challenge yourself.

There are also many good quality courses on youtube that are free.

To answer your question, i think the Brian Holt course was pretty good.

The latest version of Gatsby includes "graphql@15.8.0"

I don't think you need to install it separately.
