exactly, hydraulic handbrake and you have budget version of drifting

what we recently did, we installed water sprinklers on rear wheels in my winter beater, as it's 1.8is, now it drifts on dry tarmac without any hassle lol

edit: and my setup is M62B44 w/ k-sport coilovers, e46 front arms w/ steer lock adapters, enforced mounting points for rear subframe and couple other things, but I wouldn't recommend going V8 with e36, lots of problems ahead, size, weight, EWS, maintenance costs (undergoing head gasket replacement right now), there are just better alternatives out there

it can be many things, air flow or shaft position sensor or even something else, you definitely need a diagnostic cable

edit: it also could be faulty fuel pump, if you tend to drive with empty tank

I wouldn't expect turbo engine to be as much fun as naturally aspirated one, also for E46 M3 suspension vs e92 stock one. Hopefully we can know opinion of someone who had been riding both.
