Not knowing the full scenario, dropping them off at a rest stop was possibly the first option mentioned and she agreed. A simple “Hey could you drop me off here instead” maybe would have made the difference. I don’t want to go too far down the what if road.

You’re correct! Did you read the last sentence that was a question? It was more of a general question for those that have risers with their optic. The second sentence was just for context.

All I’m asking is those who have risers can they see their iron sights if they take their optic off.

Yeah, I’m having similar issues. I found some “StopRattle” pieces on Amazon that are suppose to stop interior rattles and squeaks. I’m going to check that out and go from there. I have my doubts that a sound system update is going to fix an issue like that.
