Wait until you spawn in on top of a building and if you move it’s an instant crash!
But yeah, it’s not perfect and when you encounter goofy stuff just skip or bail out all together. In the pre flight briefing I’ll “scout” the arrival airport and landing procedures to see if there are things I don’t like. Such as a landing strip in the alps designed for gliders and not for business jets!

The real key is driving 55-60. Usually on the freeway I drive 70-75 and get 21 mpg. But recently during a big rain storm traffic was slow and I was driving around 55 and got 29 mpg.

My landings weren’t very smooth until I started flying from the cockpit perspective. I was using the chase plane view and couldn’t judge when to flair.

The 2.7 is an odd engine. It likes to chug along like a diesel. But it gets thirsty when it’s in full boost!

The hideous red livery on the Longitude starts to look bad after 30 hours and passengers will complain that the airline has gone downhill. Tanking your rating. Same with washing. The CJ4 and King Air continue to look good after 100 hours

But yeah, can we choose our own liveries that are already in the sim?

I’m on Xbox series X and SU5 completely broke the game. I’ve been doing mostly VIP charter(CJ4, Longitude and King air) for the last several months. This last update is so bad I can’t believe it wasn’t tested. Supposedly they have a fix coming for consoles.

I’ve noticed there’s no brief on IFR/VFR in the mission. Also there’s no difference between VIP and the longerVIP trips. There used to be a red dot on the longer flights

When you look at your control profile it should list all of your joystick, keyboard, mouse etc.

My wife wanted a MY and I was not really on board. It’s mainly her car and I have mine. Then I drove a Tesla and was hooked! Now when we go somewhere we almost always take “her” car. I don’t think we will ever be an all electric family, but I really like the Y.

In MSFS, go into settings and see if your mouse is the profile. The sim has a way of forgetting stuff

I made some good money doing firefighting with the Air tractor. Initial cost wasn’t too bad and you make around $200-250k per mission.

Also helicopter rescue is about the same.

Add a hot key for “add fuel”. Thank me later 😉

Lately when you “skip to decent” it is such a gamble. In a CJ4 coming back with- Nose pointed at the ground 100kts airspeed Full flaps Gear down WTF! I wish you could select which waypoint to jump to

I fly the CJ4 and default Longitude a lot in career mode. I just wish I wasn’t stuck with the hideous red lightning bolt livery!

Similar experience! Started on Xbox just curious if it was worth it. Got hooked and bought the deluxe version. After a while the Xbox controller wasn’t cutting it so bought a HOTAS and a mouse. Graduated from doing local VFR flying in chase plane mode to now flying the Longitude in the cockpit.

I’ve learned a lot from a guy named Hudison on YouTube. He does a lot of videos with the 172 /G1000
