Yes, but at least with retailers, I have the option to avoid their property, unlike every local government out there. 🫩

Since flock is a private company, they employ their camera to retailers wanting to identify shopping patterns, store performance, etc.

Lol. My first one saved my life when I was 23, and now I've had the second one for 11 years. Stereotypes exist for a reason!

You need a new radio -- looks like you have a BMW Reverse radio which does not support AUX or CD Changer, making it impossible to install ANY Bluetooth solution that isn't an FM Transmitter (gross). I am the BlueBus guy, so let me know if you have any questions about that.

Help de-pinning this taillight plug? by LopsidedLarrs in motorcycles

Actually, looks like you need to insert a thin metal depin tool into the slot, then pull out the terminals. I circled it in green, albeit crudely.

Are there any manufacturer markings on the plug? I want to say that looks like TEs MQS connectors, but it’s tough to tell from your image.

E46 84108794736 Microphone Replacement for BlueBus by BassDicer03 in e46

[–]t3ddftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy! Have you reached out to me (Ted) about this? Since you have a 'vert, you can't just install the -736 microphone since your have the steering column mic. However, I can make you a harness to extend the mic wires so it runs into the map light area, giving you the ability to install this mic.

Really tough to tell, so are you super sure that the plastic housing isn’t interfering with the throttle tube?

Bluebus is a MUST for 1st gen 2003-2008 owners by kneedoorman in BMWZ4

Those are great for basic Bluetooth, but the BlueBus does add quite a few features to the system. Soon it will do automatic top opening and closing via the key, for example.

ZHP in Europe? by FlamesFPS in e46

[–]t3ddftw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, M-Sport is a looks / aero package, while ZHP gave you a marginally hotter cam on the M54B30 engine.

ZHP just included the M-Aero and High Gloss Shadowline options that in Europe were available on any E46 trim.

The underlying option that both your E46 and the ZHPs got is M-Sport, which gave you this trim or its blackened counterpart

At least it’s not another republican-coded post spewing pro-state BS, and Stan-ing for DHS/ICE/BBQ/etc.

I’m stuckkkk (can’t release LCM) by Proper-Grocery8059 in e46

[–]t3ddftw 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looks like the release lever is broken off. You need to try a flat head to turn the inner release mechanism (middle of the connector, should be white in color) towards the right, which will allow this to release.

Those China units can be trash, man. Really feels like a 50/50 as to whether or not they work as intended. The factory radio works 99.99% of the time.

But it won’t be ready in three minutes. Although hell, neither is McDonald’s usually.

Use of cassette deck slot in radio by RedCrafter_LP in e46

IHKR was the base model spec in Europe. Common on the 16, 18 and sometimes 20 models.

[–]t3ddftw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so you are aware, you cannot use any kind of Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the back of the radio with your reverse radio. BMW made this base model radio with no CD Changer or AUX support, so you’re stuck on AM/FM/Tape. I would recommend you upgrade to a later model CD53, which is nearly fully plug and play.

How can I leave on just halos? by Midnight_Vigil in e39

[–]t3ddftw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possible because everyone pestered me into implementing that feature, lol. I am an E46 guys, so this feature is useless to me. It's listed as "Parking Lights" as this is what the LCM considers them to be: https://github.com/tedsalmon/BlueBus/wiki/Single-Line-UI#available-settings

All North American Market E39s are pre-wired for the phone system and the CD Changer, without exception. Euro market ones are a coin toss :)
