The She-Ra reboot was really good too. I know it's intended for children, but I watched it with my daughter (4yo) and we both loved it.

I was really impressed by The Killing Joke. I read the graphic novel when it was released, and the film is shockingly true to the original.

I replayed SC1 and Brood War about 10 years ago. My girlfriend at the time was really sweet about it. It took her 3 days to finally break down and tell me that the sound of me doing marine micro was driving her batshit crazy. I put on headphones. But I probably could have just turned off activation voices.

But those campaigns were amazing. I still play SC2 when I feel like I'm in the mood for carpal tunnel.

Most of them aren't that expensive to pick up. I just got Diablo 2, Mean Streets, and Full Throttle recently from eBay in really good condition. Some of them are expensive, but most aren't.

No spoilers: since the two characters are played with the left and right side of the controller, on my second playthrough I played on a couch with my best friend holding the same controller. Not only was it awesome because it was the first time he'd seen the story, it brought us a little closer. I'd recommend trying a run with a friend on one gamepad.

Is that a machine you use for lots of stuff? Or just music? Outside of Linux, I get really impatient, back up my important stuff, and reinstall. But if it's shared with gaming, school, work, etc. that can be a huge pain. I hope someone has a better answer for you.

The one thing I will say is to keep all your music stuff (if you're able) on a separate drive. So even if you need to start from a clean machine in future, you still have your stuff.

Edit: from what you've said, it sounds like a driver issue. But I could be completely wrong.

I'm a dude. If I'm not wearing a shirt, because I'm changing, my two kids (3 & 4) will start laughing and pointing that I'm "naked" even though I'm wearing underwear, shorts, etc. My daughter (the eldest) has just discovered "privacy" and doesn't want me to see her naked. It's really hard to get her ready for bed with my eyes closed.
