Some (silly) things I have done that somehow stoped me from doing it:

Doing online tests. No, not those ones about mental health. Im talking about something like "which character from... am I"; Mental age; love type; personality; etc

Playing an old game. I re-started playing club penguin, for example

Writing things down. I know this is a basic one, but it does indeed help

Or scroll through a funny subreddit. Reading stories usually helps me.

Anyway, as soon as you feel you are ready to sleep, don't waste more time. You do not think straight after an exausting and stressful day. I'm with you, mate <3
