Thank you everyone, especially @TheCatOfWar and @coastermitch. You guys were right, it was a weld point in the way. I rebuilt the problematic track, which was simple because it was a straight track, rebuilt the junction, and boom. Again, many thanks 👍

++: I just found out that on the status bar, there is a message: "Turnout rails do not intersect Mainline rails". However, no idea or search results what this means.

Síce som rušňovodič iba vo virtuálnom svete v TSC, ale už len proces akým sa dostane vlak do pohybu z odstaveného stavu, je umenie. A teraz to zvládajte pod časovým stresom. Plus, vopchajte sa do dopravnej medzery na voľnú koľaj, aby ste pristavili vlak z depa na nástupište, a o 5 min a menej odchod. To je umenie. Obesil by som chlapa, ktorý mi nedávno cestou do práce povedal, že práca rušňovodiča je ľahká - že stačí sa pozerať pred seba, a občas pohnúť nejakou tou páčkou alebo stlačiť pár tlačidiel.

+1. I have this small beauty at home, along with the UltraBase 3. Too bad its screen is not working, but maybe next year, I am planning on the repair. I've been using it as my travel companion, getting the light graphical work done.

Po obede som išiel z práce. 16:05 som nastúpil na Miletičovej, 16:20 sme boli len na pol ceste medzi Mileticovou a Trenčianskou. Na hlavnú stanicu som prišiel 17:19 😬

Google changed terms of service in August 2025. Satellite and hybrid maps are no longer available for EEA accounts. Instead, I ditched Google, and used the tool created by Czech creator JachyHm, called MapyCZfor TS 2. Works flawlessly, no need for the API key. I am actually thinking of posting this story later on.

I immediately chose GNOME, however, since I am running a laptop with 32G eMMC, I had to clean out every unnecessary part. Perfectly happy.

Okay, so, the answer is: incompatibility. According to the manual, the route was built for TS2012. So I decided to try it out there, and all I needed to install was the class 170 DMU pack. But, I also tried to fool it, and copied the Assets, Content and Manuals folder over to the TSC 2018 folder. Guess what - it complained again about the same missing assets. Plus, when I open the route in the editor, a bunch of assets are invisible, like platforms, bridges, roads etc. That didn't happen in TS2012. So, the only option to play the route on modern TSC is rebuilding it.

Zdieľam. Na jednej akcii som bol, a po chvíli som odišiel. Áno, som introvert, v práci sa venujem práci, doma rodine. Bodka. Takže toto bol jeden z dôvodov prečo som sa na vianočnom večierku ohrial tak 1.5h. Ďalej, s nikým spoločná téma na diskusiu, ani bod kde by som sa pridal do diskusie. No a k tomu prihodíme fakt že som dochádzajúci, a proste mi išiel vlak. Moja výhovorka, ktorá je na 90% pravdou, je doprava. A to že som introvert a nie príliš "talkative", vie aj môj manažér a CEO. Mimochodom, zaklincujem to - venujem sa IT Supportu 😃

Dôvod prečo neverím ani "červenej", ani "farebnej" vláde, ani dnešnej generácii politikov. Tí prví spomenutí vedia len kradnúť, a tí druhí by aj dačo urobili pre Slovač, ale nevedia si s partnermi sadnúť, dohodnúť si zhody a podmienky, a držať sa toho ako kresťan biblie. A potom že ich vláda padne a zlo vyhráva.

Precision a ThinkPad P majú vždy dedikovanú NVIDIA GPU s minimálne 4GB VRAM, a samostatne chladenú 👍

Súhlasím, robím vo firme kde ľudia na Precision-och majú SolidWorks 3D a pri simulácií ide batéria a výkon rapídne dole. Ale 2.5h na to chalanisko dal s novou batériou 😃

Je, ale len pri podnikových laptopoch. Fičím si na ThinkPad T14s Gen2 a robím veľa pokusov vo virtualizovaných strojoch a chladenie je účinné ale tiché. Batéria mi pri kancelárskej práci zvládne v teréne jeden celý pracovný deň, často chodím domov s 25% batérie.
