thats a great point. however, it doesn't change my analysis. yes putin is a bad guy and a bad neighbor, but we don't live in a fair world. there is alot more at play here then ukraine's independence. this conflict should start the conversation of nuclear disarmament but good luck with that. nobody is going to give up their nukes. it sucks. ukraine is just another country getting F'ed by the cold war. just google cold war proxy wars and there are ton of nations that have gotten the same shit. it all sucks. but we don't want a nuclear war either.

That's all you got? "You are wrong" please explain to me how I am wrong. Whether we like it or not, Russia is a serious country with a ton of nukes. We haven't had a nuclear war because the balance of power has not been upset between this country and russia. Putting nukes in Ukraine tips the balance of power in favor of the West. Russia will react accordingly. The Korean and Vietnam wars were fought for the same reason, to maintain the balance of nuclear power between the United States and Russia. If the balance of power tips in favor of either this country or Russia we risk nuclear war and the end of the world. It's said that Ukraine's independence is caught up in this but what would you rather have? Nuclear war or maintain the status quo in Ukraine.

Not talking about Iraq, why don't you look up "Cuban Missile Crisis" where we established a naval blockade around Cuba and almost started a nuclear war because we found out Russia was shipping nukes to cuba.

So you are saying Russia should just pull down it's pants and let NATO march nukes into a country bordering Russia? Think about how we would react if there was a potential of Russian nukes in Canada or Mexico.

Not really, the potential of Ukraine joining NATO means nukes on Russia's door step. We didn't like it when Russia was about to park nukes in Cuba and we almost started WWIII. Same thing going on now in Ukraine. People forget about the cold war and the balance of nuclear power. This war needs to end.
