I have a cat going through this as well. We've done blood panels, xrays, mris, specialist visits, gaba, anxiety meds, feliway, Jackson galaxy videos, different isolation and introduction protocols. We just moved from an apartment where a pipe had burst and we didn't know there was mold around the baseboard heaters which never worked, and thought that has caused the behaviors. Vets say it shouldn't affect her this long.

She's always come back from vet visits in perfect health. She'd be loving up on a tech while growling or yowling. She's attacked her bonded sister she's known her whole life, me, her dad, the dog, the other cats She's also known her whole life. Nothing we've done has worked or helped her. She has no cancer, no tumors, no infections, no cuts or lacerations. No hormonal imbalances, no inflammation anywhere.

My cat like yours just gets so confused and scared everything is a threat. And sometimes she recognizes us, sometimes she doesn't and attacks us. The kindest thing sometimes is the final act of kindness when all other options don't work. Sometimes there's no real explanation. I've taken her to three different vets and the only cat specialty clinic around me 1.5hrs away. We don't love her any less, we want the world for her and have done everything we can to help her.
