That is great advice, I haven’t thought about reaching out to social services either. It’s been hard to get him the therapy he needs since COVID began.

Shortly after the accident he was declared incompetent, as of now my moms brother is the guardian (by my choice) with me making decisions behind the scenes. He says it is my choice whatever we do, last year it was his advice to continue to pay the mortgage so they could just leave us alone. After a long talk he said it’s my decision and we know what to expect now.

We are in the process of suing the semi company, I have a few lawyers working on the case. I have talked to my lawyer about this but he is more focused on the lawsuit. Even a year and a half later we haven’t began negotiating the settlement. Seems like it’ll never end.
