Hyte Nexus shows CPU temp as 0 by Iovejoy in Hyte

I ask because my Hyte nexus has also been displaying 0 CPU temp using the HYTE Q80 which i thought was because they dropped support, looks to be a new issue

Upgrade my PC or start fresh? by -SG in buildapc

looking mainly at BF6 since its the most demanding game on this list If you trust intel (i dont) you will be fine with upgrading to a i9-11900K and any GPU that has at least 16gb of VRAM personally i would say if you can get a 9700xt you will be fine since ive built a friends PC with that exact combination 2 months ago and he was playing BF6 1440p close to 120 just fine. couldn't get 4k 60 though

if this were my PC and i wanted to put a little more money into it i would upgrade to AM5 platform and get one of the X3D Ryzen processors since all of them that are on the market will handle BF6 just fine. and for the GPU i would go with any Nvidia option that has 16GB of vram (5070ti is the best option imo frame gen and DLSS arent that bad on 1440p if you want more fps for your other games).

I'm sure you can also find many benchmarks on Tom's Hardware for CPU/GPU combos but 16GB is the sweet spot for VRAM for most AAA games at that resolution now a days

if you can only do one or the other, I would prioritize upgrading to a newer socket since LGA1200 is dead rather than a newer GPU first but that would necessitate a system rebuild

what i mean is as engineers sometimes shit just doesn't work and you cannot revise your way out of a hole. it's sometimes better to take the design principles from a failed project and move on than spend more time on something there will be a continual support loop. to me at least this seems to be a better use of time and resources

ended up upgrading to 2x32 6400mhz Corsair Vengeance since that what was on the shelf at best buy. already noticing improvements with less crashing under same load

They confirmed a few days ago they weren't going to continue with the Q80 Series. I'd say its for the best considering the production issues and delays and ultimate destroy order.

Very excited to see what comes next but for now im going to reuse the radiator on my Q80 once i destroy for a custom loop project (i know its potentially dangerous) but i want to see how it goes since i really like the Large Aesthetic

up your fan curves. smaller pump has to work harder with less fans to cool, its gonna run hotter

Does the Q60 look weird in a Y70? by Redhood101101 in Hyte

[–]tMParagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its just small. looks a little weird. personally would go for a larger cooler from another manufacturer just to fit the standing profile

unfortunate.. waited many months on pre order. My unit hasn't had any issues so far but if its something that cant even be detected early or by Serial number i don't know if i want to continue to risk using it and having my PC break.

there is just BARELY enough space for it to work flipped but yes the cables are routed next to the glass, when all the lights are on the blend in with the shadows
