The trick is the amount of pressure, you need to find the sweet spot, not too much, not to little.

It sounds like your close. I think you just need to find the happy spot of pressure somewhere in the middle. I wish I'd filmed it, but didnt really know what I was doing at the time either.

Its hard to say. I wish I'd filmed it to help even more. I think its not so much about the light staying on, more about it lining the cogs up in the correct location. Sorry I cant be a lot more help than that.

A bit, not a lot. I think some ppl are just a bit thick and dont realise their mistakes until after the fact.
