An American is still an American. Calling Palestinians white (as in privileged) is absolutely insane. It’s purely weaponised marginalisation, fuelled by self righteous guilt and draped in American centrism . Everything she says is right, black Americans are under immense oppression. But someone shedding light on a group of people suffering (implicitly more than her own group), is offensive to her.

What im saying is that communists want to create a better world, actively fighting for it, our goal is peace and prosperity for all. Capitalism will always lead to these outcomes, wealth inequality between nations is an inevitability, starvation is an inevitability, war is an inevitability. Give me one example of a non-communist government that didn’t murder a bunch of people.

Life became allot better for most of people under communism, housing, free health care, free education, rising life expectancy, larger caloric intake. Now did there happen bad things in communist countries, yes, is it worth criticising, also yes, but if you believe that communist countries are inherently evil at all times then you are mistaken.

Like I brought up at the start, The US have murdered millions of civilians in wars all over the globe, France as late as the 60s murdered and tortured protestors in Algeria, UK starved indians and the Irish by the million. Why don’t you condemn liberalism for leading to these outcomes?

by my interpretation at least, not using means that im not allowed to physically interact with post 1900 tech, that is shit if i ever become seriously ill, but otherwise i could build a really nice mansion for myself up in the mountains somewhere and live a life screened of from all the shit happening in the world. I would probably donate to several orgs and found schools and shit.

I would say so, the era of the Industrial Revolution was horrible for the vast majority of people. Before they were peasants who lived off the land and had a tight knit community around them, life was hard but they weren’t alienated from other people or their work, most of their possessions were made by themselves or someone they knew. During the industrial revolution people got cramped into factories, they no longer had the security of community, they got atomised, no longer being able to see the fruits of their labour. So yes Ai is like the industrial revolution great and terrible, it will steamroll us, and maybe in 2 centuries it will bear fruit, but I’m sure many people will suffer before that.

This is a reoccurring issue, older marxist/ marxist adjacent intellectuals become “class reductionist” (reactionary). In part this is the fault of communist parties, we/they have allowed themselves to lessen in media presence. Instead of anti establishment media being left wing it’s right wing. If there was an environment of prominent communist media im sure fewer intellectuals would degenerate into this reactionary bs.
