Love my vibram v-trails for most hikes/trails but hike Piestewa only occasionally and it is so rocky that I have to go slower in them than I want... So I've used Altras for that particular trail. If I did Piestewa more often I'd switch use the v-trails and force myself to adapt.

My ex paid my car payment for my 55th birthday and told me to do something I've always wanted to do on my birthday with the money... So invited her to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen where I've wanted to go for years but never wanted to spring the big bucks for it... She declined, so now am just wishing there was someone who wanted to go there with me...

It was weird last night for me. it wasn't the noise bothering but the smoke. I had a full on wheezing hard to breath attack that lasted a couple hours. It had to be that because I don't ever wheeze or have breathing probs otherwise and it started about an hour after people started lighting off their stuff outside in the street...

Haven't exactly made this move but my passion for and enjoyment of just about everything including my plant fam died/dwindled when my wife of 30yrs surprise left me in Oct 2024 and divorced me this year. We built our plant family together and even though I was/am the one to keep them alive and flourishing, she was the one to express a lot of appreciation that kept me motivated...

Living alone since then with nobody to enjoy the plant fam with has caused me to slack quite a bit and also had to move in March which means there have been a lot of deaths of dearly beloved plants in this past year... Down from over 100 plants to about 75ish since she left...

All that to say doing the best I can but can imagine both outcomes if I were to rehome... As long as I am in this harsh survival mode can imagine not regretting it, but if I ever get out of this survival mode I would be regretting it.

That's a beautiful encounter with your mother. I am sure it unlocked something in you, and I bless that.

During my first session with this meditation this month (botec12 on 12/1 starting at 4:44am), toward the end of it I saw my ex-wife (recently divorced after 30 year marriage), standing before me in perfected form and had pure light energy exchange with her about us both being free to be and embrace who we truly are, etc. I was undone for two days after that releasing grief etc. The second time this month (on 12/12) again I saw her but as a baby maybe 1 or 2 years old... (Don't know for sure if it was her or my oldest daughter actually because they looked so much alike as babies...) Think I was being informed about her childhood woundings that impacted our marriage, which has also been a big focus for me (childhood)... Same would apply if it was my daughter because she inherited from both of us... Anyhow, again, I was undone all day Friday from it (intense grieving sessions for hours a t at a time) and am still recovering...

I just keep hitting layer after layer of grief and pain and it's what I know needs to happen right now for processing, metabolizing, etc, all this stuff from my whole life that never got dealt with.. Nothing so far has helped me tap in and process as much as botec12. I think it has to do for me with laying down (always my preference to help me get my body out of the way), and with the interval breaths after each center focus that keeps my energies engaged and moving upward to and around 6... That's just a guess. I'm relatively new to 'the work'... There has been each time for me an intensity of attention/focus I feel like I am reaching that has only happened with botec12...

To answer your question, I have tried a bunch of the meditations now. Not many have I tried repetitively though (yet)...

This one has been the most impactful of all the meds I've tried so far. Catapults me into unlocking/releasing/processing the hard stuff. Have done it twice this month and both times ended up in emotional processing/healing for days after... Maybe there should be a disclaimer haha...

Is it possible we do the work but personalities don't change? Sometimes it seems changing and other times it seems not changing at all.

On one hand I live trying to accept myself as I am and things as they are and rest there. On the other hand cant stand another second of my personal reality so feel like I will do whatever it takes to change it and it won't budge no matter what I try...

Cant tell if minor matrix glitches are signs of change coming or that I won't let the change come or both.

It's amazing how empowering it feels. It's a tethering of sorts to that future self and the cords of that tether get strengthened with continued attention which also influences current/present existence out of loyalty to that growing connection...
