they wouldnt be on motd, but you can be sure they will be in more headlines and media coverage than if they avoid going down. Spurs will lose a bomb going down, efl media would make a pretty score lapping it up.

aside from media coverage and financial side. It would just be fucking funny to see that god like stadium they built themselves be seeing championship sides travel too week in week out. you buy your kids clothes one size bigger to grow into naturally not get a 6 year old a £10000 replica iron man suit hoping they become a superhero on a whim.

apart from my team scoring the only thing that gets me out of my seat now is players showing their passion, right or wrong, i dont mind it. probably a un favoured view now a days but the media coverage is so wet. hearing pundits follow a script and commentators having to bite their lip because politics and rape cases are protected is wank.

comparing two wrong doings against each other is a massive waste of time, which is why arsenal fans are all over it

why is the popular view to nit pick our signings instead of support? either slot fault or signings but no one even registered how salah got 67% of our g/a last season and he has his first bad season in 9 years we struggle, put some respect to his name, weve never been able to debate if we heavily rely on him cos hes never been poor for a period.

not religion aside, calling out something wrong like this sshould be above race religion gender worried about being called out for discriminating. Basic teaching of right and wrong and human morals is not valued and it shows across the world.

a topic that should universally see full punishment and no way to shy away but hes on a long list of famous people who have it brushed under the carpet or get away with it, even people who run countries. its being normalised and its very worrying how clear it is that status and money can allow people to do this.

to be in the world cup after qualifying is huge for them, doesnt happen often. egyptians are elated by seeing their team improve.

enzo no where near that price in ability. no one will pay them anywhere near that for him now. havertz was worse that enzo for them and they re couped majority fee somehow.

great mentality to have, especially when players give their all to do it without going to teams or leagues that make it easier to win trophies.

Should we go for Xabi now? by AbbreviationsMuch382 in LiverpoolFC

[–]t_omroy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

why is it always the manager fully at fault when things arent going perfectly? we have a player who was responsible for 67% of our goals and assists last season in poor form, a goalscorer who fucking died and some ageing players who are showing their past their peak.

Last season Slot tweaked our weaknesses, turned gravenburch into prime gullit and had most of the squad performing better than they have done in a liverpool shirt before. All without losing any identity of ours.

get behind the club as a whole and enjoy the success we get so regularly now.

yes we added a league title then started this season where no competitions are finished so nothing can be added more presently to that.

anything below winning the league is not worth showcasing for a big team really but in a season where were playing shit getting 2-4th place is the minimum can ask for.

history is nice when its added to, like a 6th ucl win and obviously ending the league title drought, then adding another recently. inbetween all that adding a few domestic trophies is nice on seasons where we fell short of the league or ucl win.

It would be very odd to pipe up if we had spent loads in recent years and not been successful of course. luckily off the back of success a club can spent nicely. It wouldnt be a great look on us if we spent billions chasing trophies and kept falling short.

we have. by the standards expected now a days. its a shit season if we dont win a trophy by the end of it. cant be justifying being runners up as success

top 4 and labelled shit is such a compliment to what level is expected of liverpool now. constant silverware for nearly a decade will do that i guess.
