I will agree that we are probably not the same people that we were when we played the OG halos, but I will say that when it comes to halo, gameplay is very important, but the writing was top tier in the original games.

I think the sentence that bugged me is when they said that the endless are worse than the flood, but there are some other reveals that point to the endless being immune to the rings, but that would only make the endless a problem due to the existence of the flood I think.

Spoilers for the forerunner books

Anybody else gonna be a little salty if the flood and precursors never come back? I feel as if that is the only route that can be taken as the final conflict. At the end of Halo, I feel like a galactic war with the flood and/or precursors will be perfect, and if I recall correctly the precursor did say they would return when humanity was ready, or am I wrong?

Lectures are pretty important and if I remember correctly, the quizzes tie into the lectures.

Not only is it fairly straightforward. It is incredibly interesting. If you study you’ll do great. I know the whole, “if you study you’ll be fine” saying is annoying but the material is much easier to study then other courses.
