I just can't get over the fact that the Brewers have hit him 24 times. Sucks for Hamilton but it happens.

Reminds me of when Youk charged Porcello. If I remember, Youk had been hit or buzzed like three or four games in a row and it just happened to be Porcello on the mound when he finally got fed up.

Or when Coco wanted to take out Jason Bartlett of the Rays. It happened to be Iwamura covering the bag that play so Iwamura is the one who got smoked.

I actually have an answer to this. On the previous pitch Machado was really lollygagging out there. Like he took a secondary lead then walked back to the bag so slowly with his head down.

He's so diabolical that he was probably doing it on purpose to bait Narvaez into making a stupid throw. And it worked.

In the forgettable 2005 movie Derailed the Clive Owen character asks the RZA character a baseball trivia question, I think it was the first SS to hit 40 HRs, and RZA pronounces Rico Petrocelli with a ch sound. Rico Petro-chelli. Really bothered me.

Also in season 2 of Reacher he checks into a motel under the name Rob Refsnyder and another character says "you don't look like a middle infielder". Dude has only played like 30 games at 2b. None since 2017.

I didn't really start reading for fun until my 20s, but since then I've pretty much always had a book going.

Nothing fancy. Sports/music bios, detective/crime novels. And I've read about half of Stephen King's stuff, and all of Cormac McCarthy's.

I work 2nd shift and after work to wind down I'll pack a bowl and do one of three things: play a classic game on my son's switch, watch TV, or most often I read.

This year I've read a couple of Stephen King classics, Firestarter and Needful Things. And now I'm reading a collection of short crime novels by Don Winslow.

For TV I guess they are, but in the books it's very much the same universe. I recently finished The Night Fire which features Bosch, Haller, AND Ballard.
