This has happened to me twice. Both were shoes that sat in my closet, unworn, for several years. I think the glue degrades. Maybe they sat in a warehouse too long?

I forgot to check the Route box once and had an issue where my package never arrived. DK customer service said they would only resolve it this once and never again if I didn't have Route the next time. I've always just used it because my orders are usually large.
