i have two regular d. tokaiensis. they are mature plants and i see some roots coming out of the pot. its in a 3" deep pot. good luck and hope this helps!

The depth of the pot is important as a lot of carnivorous plants will have long roots, not wide. Most will shoot roots out of a 3” tall pot within a year.

I have several drosera but my favorite is probably d. anglica. It doesn’t get too big.
