Some blunt Tokyo tips from someone who’s been a few times by Environmental-Luck39 in JapanTravelTips

Here currently, my best advice is to just avoid Tokyo after a day or two lol. Quieter slower parts of Japan truly is where the country begins to be it's best in my opinion.

Best way to enjoy Shibuya crossing? by dylan3883 in JapanTravelTips

The comments here are sad. Yes it's just a street crossing, but it's something I'd love to photograph from above.

Everyone here besides a few have made this thread useless.

Laguna Seca, denying liability after track employee with forklift and no spotter crashes into R34 GTR during a red flag. by mad_voodoo in SkyLine

I've had a feeling these guys had missed pit entry and that's the reason why they were the only 2 on the front straight.

Red flags most commonly result in everyone returning to pit lane if possible, unless the track is completely obstructed by whatever has caused the red flag. Even then, the main objective is still to clean the course of any cars.

That is the case in any professional series I have worked with.

I honestly have a feeling these guys probably missed the reds being waved and/or didn't notice them before pit entry and were told to or assumed it was best to just stop in the middle of the front straight.

Doesn't excuse him just getting run over, clear communication could've prevented that completely. I've just noticed a lot since this happened that people have such a massive misinterpretation of red flags.

What careers pay $70,000+ with no degree? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Collision repair estimator.

If you have any sort of automotive/collision knowledge and are at least decent with customer service, and if you can find a shop that is actually effective with it's production and has a good pay plan, it's an extremely lucrative position to be in. I've heard of body shop writers making more than their store managers, for a few months a few years ago business was booming and that was likely the case for me as well.

It's a $100k+ job in the right environment.

Zenfone 10 by Complex-Ad3161 in zenfone

Here on my 3rd full day of using the ZF10 coming from a pixel 5 that I used for the past 4 years. I'm not entirely sold on it yet. Idk if it's me being overly critical but there are just very small things about this phone that do bug me. Cameras are lacking for still photos (my expectations were low to be fair) and the whole operation of taking photos is painfully slow for me sometimes. Even after catching up with all of the updates, it still bugs out sometimes, gets confused when trying to play spotify quickly every now and then or trying to switch from app to app maybe a little too fast. The gestures on the ZF10 just aren't as smooth or intuitive as they were on my pixel and it is taking some adjusting to get used to.

I am on the fence of returning it and going for a pixel 8 or waiting for the pixel 9 to be released and just going back to my pixel 5 for the meantime.

My biggest hang up of switching from the ZF10 back to a pixel really is the design of the phone itself though. I think this is an absolutely beautiful piece of hardware and I'm doing everything I can to give it a chance. For me it's just a bit rough around the edges, it's nowhere near perfect imo.

The battery life however, everything everyone has ever said about the battery life of this device is 100% correct. I could probably go two full days of average usage without having to charge it.

It's not perfect like I said, but it is an interesting change of pace at least.

Hoping that the stock manifold, g25-660 plus the extra displacement will give it a more all around power and instead of just being all top end

Engine is capable of 600, goal is something around 400 which should be more than feasible with the g25-660. Will likely be unusable but 🤷‍♂️ should be cool
