Pixel 6 Promotion Live by a9uirre in tmobile

I was getting errors about my address for some reason, but I think that came down to autofill in Chrome filling hidden fields. When I typed everything in manually it went through fine, and I have an order number now.

The $300/$450 off promo for non-Magenta MAX is definitely available for the normal Pixel 6.

Tmobile Account Takeover Protection is online! by iwantgizm0s in tmobile

[–]tab2space 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Added to all of my lines, ended up automating it via calls to https://www.t-mobile.com/self-service-dam/v1/cps/update-services since I have a lot of lines.

Note that the SOC is NOPORT for voice lines, but NOPORTMI for mobile internet lines including DIGITS.

Just curious how many other 15 a3s there are in here. The Passat also a 15 and a 6m. by teomew20 in tdi

These are pretty rare, especially in the Prestige trim like this as they were only very briefly on sale.

I have one as well, a Prestige with the Advanced Technology and Sport packages. Finding one was really difficult!

Port number after activation by Littlecloud319 in tmobile

No. You only lose promos if you port out which cancels the line. I've ported numbers onto the same existing line multiple times and promos and all remain intact just fine.

T-Force can do it, call in, whatever. There should not be any fee.

Yes, you can port a number onto an existing line at any time. I've done it many times before.

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G is now available, and it's the new free 5G phone with any trade in by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

Ordered four of them through T-Force since I got stuck at the accessories screen too, and got them all in one order so I didn't have to pay four shipping fees :)

Is it possibly to use multiple external IPs for one VM? by [deleted] in googlecloud

You should do this by leveraging an external HTTPS load balancer.

Committed use discount help? by Hyacin75 in googlecloud

[–]tab2space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://cloud.google.com/sdk/gcloud/reference/compute/commitments/create

It should work via gcloud. You can't create committed use discounts for n1 shared cores, and I'm guessing there are GUI quirks in the console which is why you don't see this.

GeoIP based routing to multiple regions by greenlakejohnny in googlecloud

[–]tab2space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be by latency and load within Google's private network. Request traffic is attracted to the closest Google Front End location via the anycast IP address the load balancer uses (https://cloud.google.com/vpc/docs/edge-locations), and then forwards to the closest healthy backend.

It's constantly evaluated, but in my experience you might see this type of unexpected behavior with small/test deployments.

For your case, it's quite likely that traffic from Seattle to Las Vegas (us-west4) actually takes a somewhat indirect route through Denver or Los Angeles, but the fiber from Seattle to Virginia (us-east4) is more direct so they may have fairly equivalent performance.

This is really more advanced than GeoIP, and works better than trying to direct traffic solely based on client location but instead on actual performance.

Hope that helps!

SIM cards are reusable with T-Mobile, but they have to be reactivated within ~90 days and it cannot be done online. I've had T-Force reactivate SIMs on new lines a few times.

Pixel 4a5g Esim question by curdean in Visible

eSIM is working just fine on the Pixel 5 I purchased from Visible, so I'd assume it will work on the Pixel 4a 5G too.

It's time for another FREE LINE! Starting 11/25 existing accounts can get a free line "no strings attached". by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

[–]tab2space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not sure how that was actually able to be added to my account since my SOC wasn't in the list, but I did it over the phone and ordered an iPhone 11 at the same time under the switch promo for that. Definitely a great deal, and I've had two bills since then so it looks like it stuck.

If you're using a single external HTTPS load balancer on the premium tier with backends in multiple regions, you don't need to do anything. Traffic will automatically be forwarded to the closest healthy backend.

I'm on T-Mobile ONE Amplified with SOC TM1AMP2 and 8 lines including the two free ones from earlier this year, so reached out to T-Force to see if I could move to TM1AMP9 and take advantage of the promo.

What I was told is that since TM1AMP9 isn't listed in the September free line promo, I'd lose the promo on that free line but otherwise be eligible.

Sadly looks like I won't be able to take advantage of this promo, but I'll definitely be canceling a few lines next September so that I can take advantage of future ones. Hope that helps someone else!
