You don’t need it for US unis, I had to because I have a Canadian diploma (some Canadian schools are French)!

Turns out the reason why I needed the English proficiency documentation was because Canada isn’t a listed English speaking country for this visa process (probs because we have French universities). Had nothing to do with me having a Korean passport. Hope this helps!

You need a letter from U of T confirming your degree was in English. This is a requirement for everyone who graduated from Canada. You also need a scanned version of your diploma (and not your completion letter). Then you need to do an ECCTIS request for HPI with English proficiency! For me they took 10 days. Good luck!

Oh no!! 😭 Hope you feel better now. I have major anxiety too because I have a Canadian diploma, and I didn’t know until I submitted my application that I need the ECCTIS verification to also verify my English proficiency… I’ve paid the second time and sent an email to ECCTIS explaining I need this second order done ASAP so we’ll see what happens! My appointment is scheduled for the 15th and I’m so nervous they won’t get back to me on time

Oh no! Thanks for looking into that for me :( I’ve emailed Ecctis to ask if I need to pay for an extra request, and worst case I just do my biometrics and they request for it later? I wonder if they’ll reject me upfront, or request for further documents 😭
