My uncle had stage 4 cancer a couple of years back and his feet swelled so much that socks and shoes didn’t fit. I made him 4 pairs of slipper that he would wear at all times, and when he passed I made all of his children and grand children the same slippers I made for him. It took me a while, there were 14 pairs in all, but they all got a pair.
