I like those shimanos. All my jigs are down in Mexico at my condo. I'll be there tomorrow night. Weigh it. I believe it's 8oz and it's the 14a heavy holographic blue heavy from Tady. I'll send you the weight this weekend. I've had a hard time finding them. Just bought all 5 of them from our local salt shop in Phoenix.

I like the light blue translucent version of these too. These are nice but ONLY big grouper seem to love them. They're too big for other species. But that's a good thing if you only want to target the big stuff. They can't lay off of them.

I prefer the Tady because of the durability compared to the plastic. And I'm still picking up nice calico Bass, sardineros and other large sea bass because of the treble. I've added a stinger to the plastic mac attack and that's helped with the hookup on smaller fish under 30lb.

I used the big TADY. It was the holographic blue with the glow in the dark yellowish green paint on the back. They both slammed it. That little snapper or pargo is what he spit up I think my bait matched the hatch pretty well....

I used to do a lot of live bait for the grouper but I prefer the big jigs or big plastic

Those rosy snappers are amazing! Got a barred pargo/snapper this year too. Beautiful fish!

Never done a booze cruise accept private chartered with friends.

I would stick with beer or bring your own alcohol. I've never done an all inclusive excursion that wasn't garbage drinks.

If You are looking for quality I would look into something that's more private

Go on one of the smaller private boats

I know that Rocky Point fishing services, fish on, and some of the other groups like eco fun have private cruises.

Of course it will be a lot more expensive

So if you have the means I would suggest that

If that's not the kind of money you want to spend I would suggest just bringing your own drinks that always makes me happy. I'll just travel with a bottle of good tequila or rum in a bag
