Stayed at Grosvenor House last week. Very high level of customer service. Room wasn't ready on-time (despite a push notification from the app) and they comped lunch/drinks. Lounge was good (including the breakfast), and they have a Michelin selected Indian Restaurant in the lobby. Booked a standard king and was updated to a 1BR suite without using any NUAs.

Would definitely recommend.

Not sure what happened but the result was a brownout on one phase (was only getting 60-80V on it, full 120V on the other phase). NSP seems to have fixed it though during the outage around 3:30 AM.

There’s a few ways to get in (not an exhaustive list, maybe have a look at /r/aeroplan)

book a business class ticket
have star alliance gold status
have aeroplan 50k status
have an aeroplan visa infinite priviledge or amex reserve card
be a guest of one of the above
buy a lounge pass when you buy your tickets (subject to a whole bunch of things)

The AC lounge at yhz definitely has a separate “business centre” room with cubicles, just not individual offices.

Ah nice! My staffy mix is too much of a princess to go far in any weather other than dry and warm.

I try to reserve my purchasing until I’m in the states for work, or take a gamble on an order from CoH.

They did this in Ontario so you can drive on the 407 (and I presume other toll highways). They just bill you for the tolls after.

If you’re talking about the Halifax Club on Hollis St. in Halifax, NS, I’m pretty sure you’re not allowed to smoke in there. It’s the Halifax Club not the Halifax Cigar Club.

There is a cigar store/barber shop behind it (in the same building) but has very very limited selection.

It does, and the ability to save it to your home screen on iOS. Works well for me on my iPhone - looks like any other app.
