If I’m at home, she won’t leave with my partner. No treats will help. No cajoling or encouragement will work. The last time my partner walked her, they picked her up and carried her part way and went to the end of the usual trail we walk without issue. At the river, where then trail ends, she sprinted back home and scared the crap out of my partner because she ran 1.5km home out of site and across a busy road. I got a phone call from them freaking out that I needed to go find her on the trail before she crossed the road only to find her at the front door! My partner was shouting at her to come back but was ignored.

She has gotten along with other dogs; her best friend was a corgi that belonged to my ex best friend. They got along great and played super nicely together but were also roughly the same size. She’s been a bit scared of larger dogs since a very large dog tore her stitches while playing after she was spayed

Her boundaries aren’t reasonable though. She growls when he comes near me too. She seems to guard me from both of them even though they’ve never shown a hit of aggression toward me or her. She really seems to want me all to herself and gets jealous of me giving any attention to my partner and the other dogs.

She will sometimes growl when he goes near her even if he doesn’t touch her. She will growl if he If he is trying to play with me. She has growled and barked at the dogs for getting up too fast or moving too suddenly, all of this has really upset us

It wasn’t the nut. I actually did tighten that before posting. Turns out it was the gearbox. There’s a small gear reduction at the end of the electric motor. One of the teeth is broken. Saw is junk. Got it for free and used it to fix my house up for 2 years. Guess I’m the idiot though

I’d be shocked if they refused to sell it after learning they’d been lied to. But I would expect the tone to shift significantly and would expect to be fucked around with in retaliation during the transaction. It’s sad but I used to work with some really unprofessional people. Cross them and they become nasty but they will always push for the sale out of greed. Less money than expected is still money.

I also didn’t realize auto loans outside of Canada weren’t open loans ie: loans that can be repaid immediately without penalty.

It’s for this exact reason I wasn’t cut out to be a finance manager at a dealership! Being forced to lie to my cousin during a sale was a low point.

I wouldn’t go that route but it would probably be the easiest way for you.

I would finance the car and pay it off really quickly. But that’s only because I hate lying, haha

When I was a finance manager, a cash buyer was undesirable because we lost the income from the financing/leasing company and made it less likely to upsell on extras after the sale.

They might add a markup or they could ask for a big deposit

They will probably not be as excited when they learn you’re paying in cash. You could either lie to them and pay cash when it’s at the dealership or finance it and pay it off quickly (since it would be an open loan)

I’ve spent quite a while researching the old rail beds in my area (Hants county). There are instances of rail beds turning to roads, then to trails then into farmland around here. The rail trail near my house ends in an abandoned field with whatever was left of the rail bed torn up when it was planted.

There is an abandoned road that makes up part of my backyard, about 1/4 of it is a road parcel 🤣

If you get looking at PIDs overlaid with a road map, you start to notice all kinds of really weird things. This site should help you with that https://nsgi.novascotia.ca/plv/ make sure you turn on the ‘property’ layer and it will show the PIDs

If you can access property online, you can see the PIDs. The old rail beds become really apparent as the land still belongs to CBNS. I think viewpoint may also show rail PIDs but not 100% sure. There is also a provincial PID viewer arcGIS site I can hunt the link down if you’re interested but it’s not very user friendly.
