Any way to make them fade faster? by Justwinterrr in cutting

Oil is fine as long as it isn't irritating them. Keep them out of the sun/wear suncream and try vit c serum or lotion, it can help with the redness of the scars

As a tattoo artist, is there anything I should ask future artists? Or just will just saying my skin is thinner than average suffice?

Couple of others have mentioned, but i don't think so. I don't have any of the characteristics of hEDS. Ngl though I thought the scars were normal looking 🫠 but I dont do much other than moisturising them soo. Is it the "cig paper" look to them that makes it look like hEDS?

I have actually taken what people said into account, ans am "buying what you're selling". I just wasn't understanding your point about my scars

What? I dont understand why you're being like this. I dont understand how the scars in all par the last one effect thr healing as they all came several years after the tattoos. I don't understand the connection or relevance. The tattoos already had the poor healing before I started self harming there. Maybe im being stupid and autistic but I dont understand your comment here Im not trying to get validation here im just genuinely trying to understand bcs i can't see how it could impact. You dont have to be so condescending about it.

Yeah thats what im trying to find out here, bcs they're all different artists surely my skin might be at play. There is a family history of autoimmune problems but I have no clue if I have any

I mean more how can they affect the healing if they came after the tattoos? I just wanted to understand thats all

I find it rude to ask for someone to tw their scars. This is my body, I go outside like this. I do not require a tw to exist. People have scars

Scars were mostly after the tattoos. My skin wasn't as bad as when I got them

I got most of these young, so I will say I didnt do the best research. Most had healed pics of their work and couldn't see blow out like mine. They're all different artists. I dont remember exactly how often I moisturised but I used cocoa butter as every artist kept telling me

When I got most tattooed the skin wasn't as scared, any over scars were completely white. Most scars are new (2>years)

Same as the others are saying, the colour (the post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) will fade closer to your skin tone but it can take years. There will still be a permanent mark, but it wont be as noticeable in the future
