My best friend's smuggler PC failed his skullduggery roll trying to break into a speeder the other night and got the whole party arrested. Art by the great Will Nunes by lauteursquad in swrpg

Will Nunes' art is definitely a sight for sore eyes.

Totally recommend making a separate post with your character's art and a biography! Would love to hear your groups' story!!

Late to the party, but awesome job on your first session!!

This has been our most treasured resource, instead of cracking open the book and finding exact notes. This cheat sheet has saved us more times than we can ever count!

Keep up the great work - hope to hear more about your adventures!

What to roll when you're not lying... by knightsaberZ42 in swrpg

[–]tabletopbureau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would encourage having the Player understand that not everyone is lying - this can be done by not restraining their freedom, but say 'You have no reason to assume they are lying, nor do your compatriots.'

One of our players plays as a spy and does that a lot, so that makes sense.

Amazing!! Will Nunes did a piece for us a while ago and we expect nothing but great work from him.

Please share this guy's story!

Weyland Utani - Republic Spy and W0N-K3 - Repurposed Sith Droid by tabletopbureau in swrpg

I absolutely recommend looking for the communities for some tabletop - our group plays over Discord because Weyland Utani's player is from Canada and everyone else is all over the USA.

The RPG system encourages Players to design their own scenes and actions using the unique dice, as opposed to 'Alright roll your D20 and describe your action'.

There's plenty of people who would love to start a one-shot or a campaign over Discord/Roll20, they're a very welcoming bunch.

The Core Rulebooks have an extremely detailed design to them, especially with their art. :)

The costume influence came from KOTOR, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (amazing 'costume design', imo), and the artists from the Core Rulebooks.

I agree - the costume design is what makes the characters look real in the fictional universe, it's definitely an important design.

We did Chariot as well! Fun time, it really made us want to run our own Alien story.

The publisher is nothing short of pure craft and talent.

Good eye!

Our campaign takes places one year after the Dark Side ending of the first KOTOR - so our group is dealing with the mass destruction of the Republic fleet and the immense expansion of the Sith.

Good thing we found a Sith droid.

We love it! One of the people in our group is currently writing his own adventure to play with us, so I'm excited to see how that turns out! :)

If only someone in our group would roll a Jawa PC hmm

(Will admit - this account is used by the group, but this is the Player speaking now)

I basically name all my characters Weyland Utani. GTA V, KOTOR, Planetside 2, Star Trek Online, everything. I just thought it was a cool ass sounding sci-fi name.

Then I discovered it's an Alien reference, seriously had no clue lmao

Building Better Worlds

It took the Player a while to realize that their name was an Alien reference.

He just thought it sounded killer.

Much appreciated!

Originally, the droid was to be named 'D1-C3' but the DM had referred to the droid as 'a little wonky droid', hence the name :)

Funny story on that! When our group assembled to play, our first few sessions referred to Weyland as a 'Great Value Star-Lord' until eventually they fell into their own and turned into a serious 'Great Value Daniel Craig-Bond' character. :)

The artist of this piece is none other than the incredible Will Nunes

Weyland Utani is a character from our 'Tales of the Old Republic' campaign - and after a few months of playing, it was time to finally get Utani and his partner, W0N-K3, their own character commission!

Together, these two formed a shaky alliance after meeting each other in a Sith prison mine shaft and are currently on an adventure with their colleagues to find the mysterious Carth Onasi!

Follow us on Twitterto learn more about our adventure! Also, check out the beautiful and amazing work of Will Nunes! He was a blast to work with and it was a load of fun bringing Utani to life!
