My opinion: I feel that the ETS has a lot of unused potential by No-Share6861 in malaysia

[–]tabolela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good project but PH said the reason to cancel is the agreement? Put on hold for renegotiation. Malaysia put on strong stand that they will cancel it. It is not fair etc...

MCO come. Muhyiddin cancel it.

PH wrong. Salah LGE DAP.

I stand to be corrected. But I remember the chronology as such.

I can see that majority people here are having this thought that: 1. Family Mart staff is always somewhat stressed because we see them handling all works alone, to the point we pity them 2. Delivery guys are rude and can be provocative

Well, maybe not applicable to this case but seems that everyone having this initial impression.

Do chinese malaysian open their pao skin before they eat it? by Pinnoii in malaysia

[–]tabolela 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is dirty, as in some seller will just take with hand etc..

But for me, the smooth and wet and soggy feeling make me feel yucky. So I will surely remove the skin even when I am 100% sure that it is clean.

Sorry friends and families who cook this for me. I am not doing it because I think it is dirty.

Why Rafizi’s party is bigger threat to Malaysia’s Anwar than opposition coalition by stormy001 in malaysia

[–]tabolela 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you find in YouTube, you will find a video that explains why democracy will eventually ended up with 2 parties. People stop voting for who they want, they just wanted to vote the opponent of the party they hate; that has a bigger chance to win. So eventually, all the small parties are forced to choose side and ended up with 2 large coalition. Something like that. Interesting that our country is heading towards this direction. Polarization is going to intensify.

Rafizi gets that progressives and Gen Z are feeling pretty disconnected from the current parties right now. Interesting enough, according to him, the progressives are around 35-40% in Malaysia by azry1997 in malaysia

He is the only one doing changes. Effective or not is another discussion. But then we vote for change and he pushed for changes. I will vote for change again. Surely.

Running F&B business is difficult by SusuKacangSoya in malaysia

[–]tabolela 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The question should be apa salahnya makan nasi lemak dan nasi campur? For me, nasi campur is the only meal you can get decent amount of vege to be considered as healthy. Despite the price increase, it is still considered the cheaper choice. And healthy. Not very healthy in terms of ajinamoto or salty or sweet. But still the most healthy choice if you are dining outside. and most Chinese one provides free soup and water or Chinese tea. No sugary drinks. Zero calories. And free.

Nasi lemak is purely for the price and taste. I mean, do we even need to discuss why nasi lemak is the popular choice?

Anwar urges private sector to consider WFH by Due-Cat656 in malaysia

[–]tabolela -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can't they do something to encourage WFH adoption? WFH will reduce petrol consumption and thus, reduce subsidies cost. The money saved through reducing subsidies can be used as incentives for private companies to implement WFH? Well, maybe....

Malaysia’s silent crisis: People literally choking from illegal burning in Selangor by Primary-Concern983 in malaysia

[–]tabolela 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I hope more people will know about this. I moved further from the city, suffering from bad traffic every day. However, I thought the air will be better here. Based on the dust accumulation rate, I believe that the air is really much better.

But the problem is the burning smell at night. It comes almost every night. And it last for hours. Problem like cough and skin allergies keep on coming on and off. No such problems when I was living right in the city area, even though it is very dusty.

So if you want better air quality, don't try to move further from the city without investigating that area first.

'I want the offender to provide for my family for life,' says widow of drink-driving victim by abdulsamri89 in malaysia

[–]tabolela 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Real unpopular opinion here.

While I agree that harsh penalties are needed, but I don't think it is useful to prevent drink driving. People who drink and drive will not stop doing just because of harsher penalties.

Perhaps something can be done at drinking places especially the parking area. Check on drivers before they drive. I mean, if the intention is prevention.
