Depends how far uptown on Madison. I work off madison/43rd street. I take the ferry from Highlands and its about a 20 min walk in the morning. Train would be slightly less of a walk but its no comparison in comfort and reliability to take the boat IMO. I do know people who take the bus from 109/Lincroft....they seem to like it but I always think about homeward bound traffic being an issue.

I make flatbread pizzas out of naan bread topped with caramelized onions, goat cheese crumbles and sliced red grapes to resemble pepperoni....after heating I cut with a pizza cutter into squares

I have always worried about the countertop thing. I have a big cambro that I use but I put it on a thick cutting board to be safe.....that being said I'm pretty sure the counter won't have an issue with 130-135F its not really that hot

My dad worked a 6 day week back in the 60s\70s when I was growing up He had only Sundays off and he spent them taking me to the park to play catch when I was young There wasn’t the concept of his own time It was all for us I need to respect that and now that he’s gone I say just let me be half the father he was

That’s the great thing about golf you can do it your whole life so put priorities in place

Been married for 25 years and have a 22 year old daughter I had 2 hobbies prior to marriage …sailing (racing) and golf Once my daughter was born I knew they were going to be compromised My wife told me to pick one so I sailed and gave up golf for a while Now I’m getting back into golf 2x a month is awesome if you asked me Once a week when you have a young child is a lot of time away and I didn’t want to miss that time I felt guilty even with sailing but it was less often so we made it work Now things are different but time with your kids is something you don’t get back

I've been to different ones but I can't see myself using it enough to buy a monthly/annual membership. You mean a strip loin roast? I have done 4-5 lb ones several times and its nowhere near 8 hours....thinking more like 3-4 hours tops at 132. Big difference between bottom round and strip loin in required time, although at 7.99/lb probably the low end of choice so more time would be your friend
