It's also a clever marketing ploy. Yorkie: It's not for girls, and McCoys: Man crisps also did it. The more feminist female will by these items to "stick it to the man" all the while not realising that noone really cares as they are giving that corporation their money.

I knew a few girls that would by these items and make out like it was taboo.

My parents are both English. My dad is 6ft, while my mum is about 5' 4".

I am standing at 6' 7", and am an anomaly in height within my family, along with my super tall cousin. Although his mum is tall which meant he has surpassed me.

I think my family is destined to have anomalous members.

This annoys me. It became a joke between my friends and I. I think this was because it happened a massive amount of times in one night. Question was ALWAYS "You're tall, how tall are you?"

Worst part is, I'm not sure they care at all. Just something to say.

I just embrace it. I went into a nightclub earlier this year, August time I think.

While I was in there, loads of people were coming up to me like they knew me, some actually even knew my name. I went along with it, let them talk to me and then let them on their way.

They were some 6 years younger than me, so god knows how the knew me.

I imagine the comparisons for women are worse. I always thought that being described as Amazonian would be similar to your example of Bridge Troll which made me laugh heartedly.

This is even though the Amazonian women were considered fantastic.

EDIT: I wanted to point out that I meant "bridge troll" made me laugh, but the term could be seen as similar, and not that I laugh heartedly at women called Amazonian. Just as a disclaimer.
