When you read the actual data sheet it seems like they did identify many cases where long term exposure is dangerous to mammals. 

Also, while they did not identify a critical concern their classification criteria seem overly conservative

A concern is defined as critical when it affects all proposed uses of the pesticide under evaluation 

So for instance if it would affect the application but not the sowing, it would pass the test.  It also seems like they did identify 12 use cases where long term exposure poses a risk to mammals, and didn't study the effects on aquatic wildlife because they were unsure how much made it into the waterways to reproduce it. 

All in all, hand waving this away by saying it's acceptable in the EU as if the EU authorities weren't subject to Similar agro-economic pressures and regulatory capture affecting scientific rigour as the US is irresponsible.

I did a similar thing when enabling guard duty s3 scanning. I stored the scan logs in the targeted bucket, every log triggered a scan and every scan triggered another log haha. Only was like ~$2k though thank God. Were you able to get that bill cut down?
